THE HEART HAS A SHADOW

The Shadow be gently docked at the Hanover Wharf
With it's deep purple sails and black roped riggings
Across ruffled water a dark mirror calm looms forth
Last of the Atlantic fully Armoured SIX KINGS

Much rumored lightning bolts flaired from its aft deck
In heat of Battles to numerous to even be Named
Only floating Life Rings warned followers to check
Where once a ship of fools had challenged the Famed

The SHADOW's Admiral be regailed only the PHANTOM
Not greeted by common men in his Black shrouded Cape
It be thought his left arm be shielded in Silver Bandaloom
A right hand held a Long Glass wrapped in others Lost Fate

Yea birds still blow kisses to ALL the four winds
Of the Score of needed PEACE brought down upon those
That might think in a blink the Night knows not grins
When JUSTICE would stroll in square heels and brass Toes

UNIVERSAL ANTHEM

Universal balance of the MIND
Broken down into commercial time
Pregmatic energy Reaching Maturity
And what we are So shall we find
Like a crystal spectrum we Unite
Moving Darkness with our light
Into an inner place we reach a center space
Of what is wrong and what be right

Prismatic Beam of light is thrown
Destination future quite unknown
We form the Memories of what is to Be
And choose the World we call Home
We've met a hundred times before
In both Love and tuggle War
We cross boundry lines of each others minds
GOD shall we listen to the LORD

Now enterlace our thoughts in TIME
Our naked Bodies be not Blind
So com together Now forever
And join the Souls of our MINDS

ALL LEFT FEET

When I was juat THREE
I took Ballet Leasons
My Toe and Brush ruled
Thumb Tumbling had Direction
The only Boy to Win
In Toe walking Evaluation
My first shoes were BRONZED
For my Big Graduation
MOM say time to Leave
You Won first award
So we raced to the bridge
My feet now felt sore
I sat down for a Rest
The water was calm
White Marble the Bridge
And it looked really Long
She picked me up running
Said,see all the Swans
I tossed them my shoes
Even the Bronzed

FIRST ONE IN

Light rippling down the entrance Hall
Sprinkling a rainbow dusted Stall
A guard leans back against the Wall
Casting his shadow into the Mall
Reflections stream from the Open door
Treasure lay scattered upon the floor
The youth dreams of Love not War
As he churns his spear length sword
Musical chimes sing through the winds
The air perfumed from inside the Din
While the Long haired Brave with oiled skin
Peers at a Jeweled Ring with a playful spin
Splashed shades of darkness and Light seperate
Like Ships being freed from their docking Gate
Two spy Warriors only imagine what lay beyound
And the Hour grows tight with impending Dawn

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

Last night I journed up the stairs
Sat down in my blue rocking chair
Compared to this I have been nowhere

I saw the Mountains of my Mind

I traveled the canyons of Cyrstal halls
Saw little patterns of daylight fall
Mystical colors on every wall

They were the mountains of History

I followed the rivers of reflected beams
Down the streams of my distant dreams
I could behold what I had never seen

I reached the Mountains of my Mind

I chose the path of least resistance
Though this way was more the distance
I reached the top with shear persistence

An knelt upon the Mountain heart

A mind blast shook through the greenery
As I chased the shades of my memories
And what I was So shall I be

King of the Mountain of my Mine

ALMOST SEVEN

The Vicker Valverdi say it be 1628
Days,weeks,and months just move along
My play is on a beach of toe twisting sand
I can swim long and deep while singing my song

The pearl of my wisdom I found down below
Giant wheels of armor in walls of wood dark
The elders must listen I have something to say
They laugh, say I lie, take me to the Park

43 steps down the justice wall they descend
The Champion flings a blade in a stump my way
Would I take up the Ark it be to my liking
I grab, lift, and sing then Take me this day

I was roped and carried to the top now aflame
A weight to my legs pulled down in the water cold
I cut the strap, chose a path of bluest sky
Remebering the window I had seen down below

My mind it did wonder as I feared for my life
What see I ? a Ship, when I climbed from the pool
No one around just a path to the screwpile
I thinketh I've died, Stars alive,no school

BRAINSTORMING

I have felt the Morning dew upon my skin
I have sweated beneath a Midday burning Sun
I have felt the winds move me in the Night
I know all the Glory & Grace of being one

I have grown a peace to equal all my peers
And fasted when another was in need
Now I ask You just a little favor
Can You tell me Who I am for all my Deeds

Now these thoughts may seem quite familiar
From the fruits of life now You may choose
Yet inward search may find no path of reason
Without twisting fourth another round of clues

I can inrich the complacency of many
Who find the time worth its remittance
For I be a Life reflected on by most
A perennial Nova of undulating presents

Now dwell upon your memories and savor
To some I'm just a grape upon the vine
No jelly bean could ever do me justice
For I am just a Raison thinking I'm a MIND

HIGH ON LIFE

Feeling high class is like a lesuierly walk
A bite from the Past near an old boat dock
Life savers worth a Bottle of Gin
Don't go near the water an you wont fall in

Your not in a hurry just footing the time
Not a care or worry be there on your mind
Just take a glance around see the path your on
Never looking back maybe sing a little song

Birds are in the Sky my how they can fly
Fish are down below do you think they know
See the happy people cooling in the shade
A little farther down is a Penny Arcade

It's a Sunny day an your glad to be alive
Maybe on the way you can slap a high five
Check out all the flowers growing over there
Glowing all in sunshine scenting all the air

A memory to recall on some rainy afternoon
Compared it to other days less fine tuned
Like a slash of water on your window pane
Stirs up air of freshness walking in the rain

IN SPRINGTIME COLONY BAY

At 10 of age I got my own space in THE BOSTON
Onside Aunt Bean's Generalgoods Storehouse
It was wide as a Mule from head to its tail
And three time as Long an neat as a Mouse

A stone and morter Firepit with a Mantle
My hardwood door had a Custom Bookslot
I didn't have a kettle nor brass door hinges
So I hung it with leather belts at the Top

With a tall pole I could raise the door high
The wind blew through and right up the chimney
With 4 bags of Cafe' beans I had quite a Bed
Watched shadows dance in moonlight so dimly

One night I was woken by a slam of the door
It was One Eyed Jack a really large Bear
I raced into the fireplace and up the stones
Jack picked a fight with my Tree stump chair

Securing the door outside I called the Watch
Blunderbusts layed out Jack from the Bookslot
I kept the Hyde and passed meat to the crowd
Traded One Eye Jack's head for a new firepot

L* WAS WEST ON THE COMPASS

MayguN EdwinA LovFa my Aunts daughter was strange
Stronge and touched by a witch wore clothes loose
Blond square chin freckled Beauty with manly ways
We meaker kids laughted and called her the Moose

MayguN and I sailed Summer of 1632 on a 3 Mast West
Our destination was a Colony named Matagordo Bay
Where the Legions Black Butterfly fight Yeller Coats
Sitting on a triple Trunkcart we sailed Last of May

Compass pointed to L* that follows the setting Sun
Land was never to Long from out of our sights
Our cargo was full of Medicinal Herbs and spices
West Indy Voyage ended that 9th. stormy night

Shaken we lost 2 trunks as the ship quickly Sank
The 3rd. wheel broke and we jumped with the cart
The Skifs where all taken so we straped our wrist
What strange Destiny Be my first Kiss was a start

The Horses of water were now all set free
Strapped to our cart we clung to our Lives
Whipped by the waves and thrashed by our flesh
2 days afloat with the song of my Bride's Cries

Just Barely Alive

The cold piercing rain was now a simple pour
My back felt like it had tasted tails-n-claws
Just up down motion of our float cart hypnotic
Cradling each long rolling wave with applause

MayguN lay in Beauty now silent for several hours
I covered her head our bodies be tethered together
One leg and arm held to the iron Cart tie downs
The memory of our first kiss desired another

I arched back on the trunk for a taste of rain
Openning my eyes to see only water and waves
To strained to view what be over my shoulder
All Time be Lost was I thinking hours or days

The gloom twisted above dark sheets an swales
A strong need to free my hand from knoted hair
A faint scream filled my mind with gracious Hope
Are we alive ? my words weak as a gentle prayer

I barely know this full woman besides me now
I see only towering white stones of marble
It rises with fist in mind and turns to flowers
And the flesh it melts to a voice so horrible

The stress of wood sounding shoved to its side
