-Sabrina's P.O.V.-
"So, Hannah, what is there to know about this school?" I asked, chosing my words carefully.
"Oh you know, stay away from some people, get to know people like me, oh and uh..." She stopped yanking me aside to her locker. "don't be stupid Sabrina..."
"Hannah, I'll let you know that I can make all A's okay...I think I'm not going to do drugs if that's where you're going with this." I giggled.
"Sabrina, really. There are some people you don't need to be around in this school. Some people you should just ignore them and play nice. Got it?" It seemed as if she were concentrating on something behind me, instead of focusing her attention to me.
"Gotcha, now what are you-" I spun around on my heel to meet a broad chest, clad in a flannel plaid, button-up shirt. "Oh, sorry..."
"No, no you're fine." I looked up, but only to be put back in my awkward trance I was once in before. Two bright green eyes, literally devouring mine with darkness. A darkness that could only mean one thing. "Is Hannah bothering you? Do you need a real senior to show you around?"
"No," I turned back to Hannah with an awkward gaze. "Hannah is doing just fine, FYI. Now if you'll excuse me, Hannah's showing me to my first class."
Hannah came up beside me and hooked arms with mine. "Rule number one, don't fuck around with Ashton Marshall."
Hicksburgh High-Sabina's P.O.V-
So, the school isn't so great from the outside, I'll be honest. Not that i've ever been to better, but it could use a little fixing up. Yeah, I know I shouldn't really be complaning, I mean I'm new and don't know one damn thing about this place. All I can do is infer from my surroundings, which are: jocks, nerds, cheerleaders, and band geeks, that this school probably has a reputation issue.
Although, the school I came from was no better, in fact, I could say this was a step or two up. My old school, everyone was pretty much a loser, or a popular person. I guess here in Philidalphia you have more choices.
"Check out the new girl..." I turned my head to a group of jocks that were being surrounded by a squad of cheerleaders. Nothing I saw was impressive enough to make me stop and waste my time to talk to the idiots that somehow have enough credits to even play their sport.

"Name please,"
"Sabrina Williams. I'm new here..."
The receptionists nails stopped clicking around on the keyboard as she looked up through the rims of her cheap, perscripted glasses. "Ah yes, Ms. Williams. It says here you're from Georgia?" I nodded. "Great, I'm just going to need you to sign here, and then you'll be off to go to class."
"Thank you." I quickly signed and began to make my way out of the medicine-scented office and out into the corridor.
"Hey!" A chirpy voice sounded through the halls from the girl's bathroom. "You must be Sabrina!" I was met with a tall blonde, blue-eyed girl with tan skin. "I'm Hannah by the way, and you have first period with me...Mr. Watson right?"
I fumbled nervously through my papers to get my schedual. Sure enough it was Mr. Watson's Math class. "Yeah, I do have him."
"Great. Let's get goin' shall we?"
Hannah and I walked a little down the hallways until I shakily broke the silence. "

To be honest, nothing was bad about this school. Kids were disrespectful, yes, but the classes were great! In fact, my math class was easier than any other class I had today so far.
Of course, you guessed it...it's lunch. B lunch to be in fact. Apparently, there are so many kids here that we need to split the lunches into 3 parts. A, B, and C lunch. Lucky for me, mine wasn't too early or too late.
"Yo Sabrina!" Hannah was clearly trying to be my friend in case that wasn't obvious already. It's too bad that I don't really know if she's my type of friend however. Every guy practically drooled over her, until today... "Maybe you should use your legs and come over here?"
"Oh," I quickly began walking, trying to avoid complication. "Sorry, I was just sidetracked."
Hannah scooted over and let me into the tight squeeze between her, and a cheerleader. "No problem," quickly, all small-talk was cut short. "Everyone this is Sabrina!"
A quick 'hi' and 'hello' was omitted from almost everyone's mouth. Almost. Still there was the green-eyed boy with chocolate locks, still to speak.
"Ashton?" Hannah snapped. "Aren't you going to say hi to our new guest?"
"I already have. This morning, remember?" His gaze turned to me, practically sizing me up!
"Y-yeah. I remember..."
Hannah smiled, "Well good, glad we could all get to know each other."
Yeah, I guess it was...but still, Ashton facinated me...in a way that was just so...intruging.
-Ashton's P.O.V.-
Gosh, could Sydney get any more annoying? 'I need this, why can't I have that, I'm so tired, I'm not good enough...'
"Ashton, are you even listening?"
"Huh, wha-" Quickly realizing where I was, "Oh, yeah...you want more eyeshadow?"
Her scowl pretty much explained that I was wrong. "Ugh, you never pay attention to me! I said I need-"
"Yo, Sabrina!"
Sabrina...Sabrina...I don't know a Sabrina...
"Maybe you should use your legs and come over here?" Hannah, geez. To be honest, our table is the most packed one here. We don't need anymore-
"Sorry," The creature that was before me was breath-taking. How could you not want that? "Sorry, I was sidetracked."
"Ashton," Sydney screeched, pulling me from my daydream. "are you listening? I told you that I-"
"No problem," Hannah moved over for Sabrina to squeeze between her and Sydney. Suddenly, all eyes were on her...and I didn't like it. "Everyone this is Sabrina!"
Just as any other time someone would join, everyone muttered 'hi' and 'hello', but I remained silent. I felt as if I were to say anything my voice would crack. There's just something about the girl....
"Ashton," Hannah snapped. "Aren't you going to say hi to our new guest?"
"I already have. This morning, remember?"
She looked as if she were un-pleased...highly. However, Sabrina hardly even made a face, or even a move with my complete itiotic remark. She was different. Almost as if she didn't even care that I seemed to not want to know her, which is stupid, because I really did want to know her.
"Well good, glad we could all get to know each other."
Hannah seemed to be completely oblivious to this situation. Maybe, she just didn't plan a heads up. What's funny is that nobody's going to expect what's coming....it'll be...unexpected.
Art
-Ashton's P.O.V.-
7th period was the period I had been waiting for all day. The last period of the day...art. I sat down next to my buddy Lucas, who was sitting with Sydney, Alice, Henry, and Marc.
"Ashton," Sydney screeched. "baby, how are you?"
Just fine 'til you decided to ruin it. "Good."
"Alright class," Mrs. Hendrick conducted. "I hope today, we'll have another good day, yeh?" She clasped her hands together, smiling wide. "Also, I'd like to introduce to you, Miss Sabrina Williams!"
-Sabrina's P.O.V.-
Art. A class I didn't pick. In fact, if anything, I'm terrible at art.
"Ms. Williams?" Mrs. Hendrick asked.
"Oh, yes?"
Chuckles erupted into the air.
"I'd like you to sit at table 4. Next to Sydney. Sydney please raise your hand."
A cheerleader sitting at the table labeled '4', raised her petite hand. "I'm Sydney." She was stunning, red hair with glowing green eyes, olive skin, and a petite figure.
Quickly, I made my way over to her. Her impossibly white smile never faded as I walked. "Hi, I'm-"
"Sabrina." She answered. "We know, you were introduced by Hannah at the table today during lunch."
"Oh, you were there?"
"Yes," Of course she was... "Me, Marc, Alice, Henry, and Ashton were there."
"Hi Sabrina." Ashton smiled, his eyes dancing with excitement and deception at the same time. "You can sit over here." He gestured to a stool next to him, facing towards the board.
"Actually Ashton," Sydney gritted out through closed teeth. "Mrs. Hendrick told her to sit next to me, if I remember correctly? Didn't she Sabrina?"
"It doesn't matter what stool she sits at. Besides you're already sitting next to me and Alice. Sabrina can sit diagnol to you. Same thing."
"Shut, up Ashton. Please!"
I could tell there was something personal between them. "That's okay. I'll just sit over here by-"
"Fine, go sit next to Ashton!"
Sydney's Hicksburgh Highlander's uniform was hastily yanked down by the pepto-bismol stained nails on her petite hand.
"Hi Sabrina." Ashton pulled the stool out next to him out a little more. "It's nice to meet you." I just nodded and smiled, trying my hardest to avoid eye contact with the emeralds perfectly proportioned away from his nose. "This is Alice," he gestured towards a girl with black hair, brown eyes and pale skin like mine. She had a perfect smile as well. It seemed to be a running theme here. "that's Marc," a boy with scruffy brown hair and black eyes. "and that's-"
"Henry to you Miss." A boy with blonde hair and blue eyes took my hand
