“It’s been six years since Alice disappeared. She would be eleven, if she were still here. She disappeared when she was five.” An eleven-year-old boy wrote in his journal. “She was my best friend. She probably was even more then a friend. I always did have a crush on her.” The boy took a deep breath. This was his confession, and it’s been hidden from the world for six years. Today the world will see what he is really, a lovesick boy.
“For some reason, I always knew this day would happen, her eyes were a dead give away. Why did they have to be green? I just wanted to protect her, to be by her side. I think I asked too much from the universe.” There was a long pause as a teardrop fell from his eye.
“Why did this world give birth to Alice and swallow her up? Is she doomed to be stuck a demon?” There was silence all around the room. Not a bird chirped or a mouse squeaked. You even could hear the light creaking of the stairs. The boy closed the journal, and JONATHON was written in big bold letters. There was also a picture of him and a girl with green eyes smiling at each other. The kids looked to four or three years old.

Jonathon crept into the kitchen, and took two loaves of bread. He would only need two loaves. Jonathon cared enough for his family, that he didn’t want too starve them. Then, he left a note explaining where he was, what he was doing, to not come looking for him, and tell the Elders that he is at a friends house, not looking for Alice. Jonathon took a deep breath, and left the house, and possibly he would never look at it again. For if he was wrong about Alice, he might never return again.
Jonathon opened the gate to the forbidden forest, and didn’t look back at the village that raised him. It was a choice of leaving now or never leaving at all. Jonathon stepped into the forest and closed the gate, but he accidentally didn’t close it all the way. He had a pack full of two loaves, and a large cheese wheel, and he had a spear in his hand for protection. He also had a sharp blade tucked into his boot, for emergency reasons.
All of a sudden, there was a movement in front of them. The movement was so fast that it was almost a blur, but he could make out a girl with brownish-red hair, and brick brown-red eyes. Once he saw the eyes, he knew that she was a turned demon. She probably was once a daughter to one of the villagers. Then, there was a movement behind her. He turned around to notice a black clothed figure standing behind him. The creature-man approached him and then……..
