Chapter 1
Lizzy's POV
I sat there, motionless, afraid, sick, anything you can think of that's bad, I felt it. I was walking home from school, absolutely overjoyed from my report card, our house was only a block away from school, what bad could happen? Alot. My paper had dropped in the middle of the road, and as usual, I was an idiot and, without looking, I walked up to it. And just like that, a large truck whirred around the corner and sent me flying. The last thing I heard was the screeching of tires, and truck doors opening. Then I blacked out.

Jake's POV
"What just happened?!" I screamed in shock. "We hit something" my father's panicked voice erupted. "Should we check it out?" I asked. "yes." he said, and with that, me and him got out. I looked around for a moment and saw a ragged figure in the clearing, I sprinted over and kneeled down beside it. It was definitely human, so I tried to flip it over so it could breath. As soon as I flipped the crippled body in front of me, my heart sank. A beautiful girl with black hair and blue eyes was laying there, half dead in the middle of the road.

I picked her up and carried her to the car, still quite worried that she was dead. I put her in the back seat and wrapped a towel around her as my dad started the truck. Soon after we got to the highway, the girl gained consiousness and looked around. I was surprised that she woke up. "What's going on?" she asked, pain in her voice. "You were hit by a car" I said, leaving out the fact that we were the ones that hit her. "It hurts!" she cried, I looked at where the blood was soaking through and felt pity, for it was right by her rib cage. "Everything is going to be alright, here" I said and gave her a bottle of water.

Lizzy's POV
As I slowly woke up from the strange thing that had just knocked me out, I found myself in a truck that was unfamiliar to me. "What's going on?" I asked, a large stabbing pain going through my rib cage as I attempted to move. "You were hit by a car" an unfamiliar voice came from beside me. All of the sudden I felt something oozing down my stomach, when I tried to move again, I gasped in pain "It hurts!" I cried, this was a very strange thing that was happening, something that I had never experianced, and I hoped not to experiance again "Everything is going to be alright, here" the voice said to me and I turned to see a handsome boy, about the age of me with jet-black hair and a very awe-striking smile, holding out a bottle of water to me. I slowly leaned in the grab it, pain shooting through my rib cage again, but I tried to ignore it, I was parched. When I finally got the bottle, I opened it and took a big drink, feeling immediate relief. "We are almost there" came yet, another strange voice, I just sat back and waited, they were probably talking about the hospital, in a few minutes, I drifted off to sleep. Different things danced through my dreams this time, scary images, happy images, weird images, all different kinds of things, it was a wonder.

Soon I felt something tugging at me and pulling me, then I felt arms wrapping around me and pulling me somewhere unknown. I couldn't open my eyes, the pain was to great, I let out a groan and blacked out again.
When I finally woke up, I was in a dull-lit room on a hospital cot, I was surrounded by electronic equipment and weird medicine bottles, my hearbeat was on a screen and there was a handsome figure sitting on the other side of the room, his hands over his eyes. "Hi" I croaked, trying to get his attention, his hands came off his face to show the boy I had seen in the truck. "Hello there" he said quietly and approached me, he laid his hand on a strand of hair that was on my eye and moved it out of the way and looked me right in the eye "I was worried about you, it's not every day that a girl is found on the side of the road in a large heap" he said, a sympathetic look in his eyes "Your ribcage was shattered in 3 places and your hand almost broke" he said "But my family is rich and we can get your ribcage fixed in no time" he said, rather quietly. "Okay" I said simply. "So what's your name?" he asked gently. "My name is Lizzy, yours?" I asked him, in the same tone. "My name is Jake, it is a pleasure to meet you, I just wish it wasn't in such an unfortunate way." he said. I have never seen such a handsome boy in my life.

Jake's POV

When I saw her laying in the hospital bed, torn apart, that's what I felt inside. She was such a pretty girl, and I felt horrible to see something such beautiful so in pain. I tried to keep quiet so I didn't stress her out too much, it's not every day that you get hit with a truck. For some reason I felt drawn to this girl, I wanted to know everything about her, every secret, every detail about her. Her life story with major detail. I wanted it.

After a short, casual talk, I walked out of the room to give her a chance to rest and be by herself. Yet I didn't want to leave her alone, I knew I had to so she could feel better. She seemed like a copy of me, we would laugh when we found out that we liked the same thing, I never knew that someone could like My Chemical Romance as much as me. I walked out of the building where my dad left me, I slowly walked down the street to find a quiet place to sit. After a few minutes of searching, I noticed a dark alley and stepped into it quietly, making sure that no one else was occupying it. I sat down beside the dumpster and pulled my secret savior out of my pocket.

I held up my old friend, the sun reflecting on the metal, I hadn't seen it in a long time, and I longed for it once again. I took it and wiped it off with my shirt, I love my razor. I slowly pull up my striped sleeve to reveal my battle scars, the story of my life was in each and every one of them, and I had grown attached to them as if they were my friends. I took my razor and slowly drew lines that painted a picture with my mind. Cut after cut, the dark crimson was now practically pouring out of my arm. I grabbed a napkin out of my pocket and started dabbing it off before it could stain my clothes.
Everyone hated me for the way I dressed and the way I acted, no one liked difference, the drones were crowding around me, turning my heart into the black hole in which I had been falling. I was just a normal person, I was my own unique individual which was something that no one could change. Everyone despised me for it. I kept to myself, I was a very quiet person, I hadn't done anything for anyone to treat me as if I were an animal, it just kind of happened. My happy life was over, and it was time to hide in the shadows.
After about a few minutes, I gathered myself together and decided to go home. I wiped off my little buddy and put him back in my pocket and set off. Once inside the monster of a house my father owned, I turned to greet my father and went upstairs. Once in what my dad called the tornado room, the name he had adopted for it since it was always a disaster, I set my shoes down and flopped down on my bed, not realizing how exhausted I actually was. After a few minutes of thinking, I decided to take a short nap. My dreams were all of her, the thump of the car, the pain in her eyes, it was just all so real. I definitely needed to see her again, I couldn't keep my mind off of her. She was everywhere. Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy. My mind absolutely hated me.
I woke up slowly, remembering somehow I was in my room and not in the waiting room anymore, I yawned one of my thunder yawns and slowly and grudgingly got up. After fighting with my body trying to convince it that it needed no more sleep, me and it came to an agreement and I practically dragged myself into the bathroom. I reached for the hairbrush slowly and got to work on my hair. Hair was like art to me, I had so many hair products that it filled up my entire sink-space and some had to go on the floor. I teased my hair and decided I needed something new, very new. I wanted to dye my hair again, like not fully but like part of it. I had just brushed and teased my hair for no reason, now I needed a shower. I shed my clothing and took a shower. After getting out of the shower, my hair stuck to my face horribly, it annoyed me a lot. I fought another battle with my hair and finally got it out of my face where I could see, at least. I grabbed my blow dryer and got to work again, after about 30 minutes of blow drying and straightening my hair, it was time to dye my hair. I decided which part I wanted to dye and put my hair in a ponytail, with the hair that I wanted dyed hanging down. I mixed the red dye
