know since more than ten years you have been leading the life of a forced bachelor. Why should you forgo worldly pleasure sir? And in fact I am in love with you. Whether you accept me for marriage or not I am interested to live with you even as a kept mistress or at least I want to date with you sir. And please see my grace and beauty and if I am not suitable to your taste, I promise I too remain as forced bachelor like you all through my life. Please don’t say no sir” So saying she removed her night gown and approached him.

She was a dazzling beauty, with her tantalising looks and temping lips. He tried to withhold his bachelorship, but she never allowed him and that she advanced.

In sex there were no barriers like cult, cultures, wealth, senior or junior and finally the age, place and time. With her initiation he lost his balance and forgot the environ and he too went closure to her; and within no time they both shared the bed, but again he recollected his age and she was younger than him by almost twenty five years, he tried to avoid her. But she was in the peak of her temptation to have a first go, kept aside all her feminine inhibitions, forgot the surroundings for a moment, became an active partner and took the lead and forcibly occupied him and pulled out his underwear.

“No......” Honey raised her voice.

Miss. Jasmine woke up from her slumbering sleep and looked at her. She was sweating while in sleep, and found her dwelling left and right on her bed fleeing uncomfortable.

She thought that she might have dreamt of some ghastly incident. But, she didn’t predict that she was dreaming about their unholy relation.

She put her hand on Honey to cajole her.

********************************

It was 0600hrs. Honey was still in deep sleep.

Miss Jasmine woke her up.

“Good morning Honey, it seems you have disturbed sleep in the night” Jasmine greeted her when once she opened her eyes.

“No I have sound sleep; and in fact you have only woke me up. Didn’t you have sound sleep in the last night Miss. Jasmine?” She asked her rather she suspected that she might have spent the whole night in the company of her dad.

“No I had a sound sleep Honey”

“Good morning Honey” While they were talking Mr. Anirudh also came afresh and greeted her daughter.

Miss. Jasmine was observing him unobtrusively as she was in night gown and disturbed hair as she got up from sleep.

Normally Mr. Anirudh used to get up late in the morning; and get ready only by 0800hrs. But today it was quite strange that he was ready by 0630hrs, which made Honey to confirm that there was an affair between them.

“Jasmine I am leaving, you can stay back and look after your gifted daughter”

“Please wait for some time, and in the meantime I will arrange breakfast; you can finish and then go” Jasmine requested him.

“Okay as you wish” He sat in the hall and going through the news paper.

In the meanwhile he received a phone call.

“Jasmine, there is an important case I must attend; and I am leaving, you carry on please” He said and immediately left his bungalow.

Chapter: 10

There were number of people including the neighbours gathered in front of the bungalow of Mr. Johnson.

There was the dead body of Mr. Johnson found in a pool of blood on the cot in his bed room. There was .22 pistol in the right hand of Mr. Johnson. There was a whisky bottle, one flask with ice cubes, and an empty glass.

Mr. Anirudh got down the vehicle; and the inspector and the clues team who were already present there interacted with him. He also searched in the house of Mr. Johnson minutely. He could see in his cupboards the group photo of his college days, and in his money purse the personal photograph of Mrs. Rosaline.

******************************

“Women are innocent and men are tuff and ruff, but now you disproved it and turn turtle the natural basic instinct qualities of women and men quite reverse Rosaline. It is quite unfortunate that you have lost your true lover. As a father I have tried my best to set right your personal life and career, but in vain.

Your quite unfortunate son, who lost not only his father, but also misunderstood the gentleman Mr. Johnson who was ready to welcome you both into his life, neither you nor your adamant son could understand the true feelings of the poor and innocent lover; and consequent of which he got himself hurt with your behaviour and you both are responsible for his ---”

“What happened to him dad?” I didn’t wait until my dad completed, but I asked him out of anxiety.

“Yes my daughter I am not speaking a lie, and as it pained me I couldn’t withhold my anguish and I lost my temper against both of you. Now the great lover made me to open my eyes. I am sorry to tell you that you both have made him rather chased him to leave this world” He was about to complete.

“What dad? What happened to Johnson?” I didn’t wait for his answer, but ran towards the portico to take my car.

“Wait Rosaline, please don’t go now, the students and his colleagues’ are upset and are in angry”

I didn’t care his caution and I started my car.

“Hear me Rosaline the cops will pounce upon you with lot of questions, please hear me and I will take you later” He tried to stop me.

But I put the first gear and the vehicle was on the move; and except the steering but the speed was not in my control.

“You never hear me at all Rosaline when I am trying to help you honestly, but you are silent when a great harm is being done to you; and that is why you are facing all the troubles. Anyway it is up to you; and his body is in the mortuary, not at his home” He said loudly.

I could hear him.

“But he is certainly not a gentleman grandpa, otherwise who is he to enter into my mum’s bed room? How shameful it is if anyone asks me whether he is a play boy hired as paramour to my mum?” Rohit questioned him rashly.

“Shut your mouth Rohit, don’t belittle him”

“I am sorry, I am not wrong grandpa”

“Don’t talk rubbish anymore. Perhaps you don’t understanding the real story of your mum’s first lover. They both are classmate and lovers. Because he belongs to different sect and hails from a middleclass I have not accepted their love; and moreover your grandmother took a promise from me to perform the marriage of your mother with your dad; and their marriage was performed against the interests and severe protests by your mum”

“Then you are only responsible for ruining the life of my mum, how cum you did this grandpa? Did you not think that my mum’s love is true and pious? And why didn’t you accept Mr. Johnson as my mum’s lover and perform their marriage?” Rohit asked him seriously.

“Yes of course my child and I was only responsible initially. But ultimately you only spoiled the life of your mum. You better read the diary of your late dad and you will come to know the real facts. But promise me Rohit that you should never disclose the facts or hand over the diary to your mum till I am alive” Mr. Richards insisted his grandson to promise him.

After taking him in confidence only he handed over him his father’s dairy.

Later the grand old man went to his room and started drinking liquor.

Rohit went to his room and opened the personal diary of late Mr. Samarat.

 Chapter: 11

“I am sorry Mrs. Rosaline, other than his relation no outsiders will be allowed please stay back” When I was trying to step into the mortuary ACP Mr. Anirudh objected.

But I never cared anybody and rather forcibly I entered the mortuary and on seeing the dead body of Mr. Johnson I broke down and cried like a child falling on the body of Johnson. The Doctors who were about to conduct Post-mortem were rather annoyed with my entry into the mortuary.

Mr. Anirudh instructed his lady cops to remove me from the dead body.

“Spare me please. He is my husband” I could not control my feelings and emotions, but I dared to spell out openly.

“What? What did you say Rosaline?” ACP Anirudh put me in an embarrassed situation by asking me to repeat.

I then realised that I slipped my tongue. It was my painful love story of about fifteen years ago, and it happened in camera.

“We both are classmates” I tried to rectify my mistake.

But, the students in support of their beloved lecturer late Mr. Johnson, and so also in support of them the students of other colleges assembled at the mortuary and rose anti slogans against me. Some of the girl students’ even man handled me.

With great difficulty and with the help of the lady cops Mr. Anirudh could protect me and put me in his vehicle. But in the meanwhile he received a call; and then he instructed the driver to turn the vehicle towards my house.

*****************************

I got down the police vehicle at my bungalow and I found the dead body of my dad in his bed room. I was shocked and broke down. I never expected that my dad also deceived me by leaving me deserted.

His diary was there on his table and it was written till half an hour before.

Rohit was grief-stricken. Nobody was there to console us.

I alone objected when the cops tried to send the dead body of my father for autopsy, as they were of the opinion that his death was unnatural.

“Sorry madam it is a medico-legal case; and it is mandatory to send the body for autopsy” The inspector who was investigating the case was very firm in his stand.

I had no option except to know whether my dad’s death was suicide or homicide, as he might have felt repentance for the death of Johnson and committed suicide; or it might be homicide as anybody who felt sad over the death of Johnson might have borne grudge against my dad and killed him.

And the ACP Anirudh convinced me. The dead body of my dad was sent for autopsy.

Chapter: 12

It is an interrogation room of Anti- goonda squad (AGS).

And Master Rohit was with cops of AGS for a brief interrogation.

“Do you know Mr. Johnson?”

“Yes”

“What is your relation with him? Since how long he has been visiting your mum?

“I am told that he was mum’s class mate. I remember him coming to our home since I joined my 1st standard”

“What happened yester day, when he visited your home?”

“He was awfully drunk and was quarrelling with my mum and grandpa”

“No, you are lying”

“Sorry I am not lying”

“We have evidence Mister; and by the way did you threatened your mum and left home with bag and baggage?”

Master Rohit became silent.

“Then who brought you back home?”

Still he didn’t reply.

“We told you we have all evidences; and your silence will bring down your credentials; and it goes on your head heavily even if you don’t answer our questions truthfully” The Inspector of police, AGS became wild and threatened him.

“When you have known everything why are you again asking me?” Rohit replied him rather irritatingly.

“Shut your mouth, you head long fellow” The inspector got wild and slapped him.

“Wait, wait I will handle him” In the meanwhile ACP Anirudh interfered and asked the inspector to send Rohit to his chambers.
