Believe me or not

In a city, there was a popular high school named St. Bob. People were eager to send their children to that school. But the school admitted only talented and extraordinary students. It gave preference to good students who also played sports. It had the best types of equipment for extracurricular in the country. All the sports were for both boys and girls.
In that city, there was an immigrant family, with the only daughter named Krizan. She was fond of cricket. St. Bob was the top school in the city, so her dad thought that Krizan should go to St. Bob, but Krizan wanted a school with girl's cricket team. So her dad called the school and asked if there was a girl's cricket team. When she knew there was one, Krizan agreed to join the school.
On the other hand, a rich guy, Nick, who was handsome and talented, also got admitted to St. Bob by his father although he didn't want to change his school. He also had a huge interest in cricket.
The school day arrived; both were very excited about the new school and the cricket team. As much as excited, they were nervous as well. As it was a big school, they had difficulty finding their class and both of them got new and special friends. They were ready for their cricket team and friends in the cricket team. They were excellent in cricket and everyone praised them, however, there were fewer numbers of students in the team, and the coach insisted everyone in the team find new members for the team.
The first day went amazing for Nick. As he was handsome and rich, he impressed many girls. As a high school student, his life was amazing with lots of friends, parties, and enjoyment. But unlike other rich guys, he was good at studies. Along with friends and enjoyment, he concentrated on his studies as well. He used to study late night to get good grades to be a topper and make his family proud of him.
But Krizan was completely different from Nick, she was happy with average grades such as A, B+. For her cricket mattered more than friends and studies. She wanted to be a famous cricket player. For her, her life and dream was cricket and nothing else. Her parents were also supportive and had given her many pieces of training and practices of cricket.
After a week, there was a cricket practice in which two teams would be made and the best one would be chosen for the school's cricket team. Krizan played the best and got chose as the captain of the girl's cricket team and Nick got chosen as the captain of the boy's cricket team. They had lots of work and could not concentrate on anything except training their team for the upcoming tournament.
And finally, after lots of practice, the day of the tournament arrived. And each and everyone did their best and girl's cricket team became second and boy's cricket team became first in the tournament. After the tournament, Krizan and Nick were finally free and had time for other things. As they were the captains of cricket team; they started talking to each other and became friends.
Nick started helping Krizan with her studies and Krizan helped him with other things like participating in inter-house competitions. They were like best friends after some time and like in many other schools, people started asking and teasing them saying that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Neither Krizan nor Nick was ready for such comments, so they started ignoring each other but they missed each other.
Slowly they had started liking each other but were scared to confess. They started ignoring their studies and their friends and felt something was missing in their life. Then after 3 weeks, Nick told he liked Krizan to his best friend. And his best friend said, "Don't care about what others say, it's your life and just tell her that you like her". Nick was convinced.
The next day, he proposed Krizan and she thought he's isn't serious about his feeling and said: "I had never thought about you in that way". Krizan started ignoring Nick and even their friendship was broken.
But this was not end of their story; God had decided something else for them. They had tried to ignore each other, but their only passion cricket acted a cupid in their story. They met each other during their cricket practices and tried to hide their feelings. The coach tried hard to make the two captains aware of their responsibilities but nothing worked.
The coach decided to fix things between them. The coach called both of them to the ground after school. No one was over there except for them. They started fighting with each other. Nick said," I should have known this was your plan to insult me. Why do you hate me so much??" Krizan said," I don't hate you. I never hated you and this was not my plan. What makes you even think that I hate you??"
Nick said," You are ignoring me ever since I proposed you. You're trying to fight with me. What other explanation could you even have for it??" Krizan said," there's only a single explanation to this and that is I like you but I'm scared that you'll hurt me because you're not a guy who commits to a girl. I'm just another girl for you." Nick said," I thought you knew me well, we were such great friends. I like you and you're not just another girl you are very important to me. Krizan, I just did not say those words, I mean them. I can't show you my love but I know that I love you."Krizan said, "I'd believe you if you said that to others as well, not only to me like you're trying to hide something."
The next day, Nick said, in the canteen standing on top of a table, "I wanna tell you that I am no more single cause somebody has taken my heart. She means a lot to me and I like her. I just hope that she would like me too. Krizan, would you please forgive me and become my girlfriend??" The whole room was filled with oohs and aahs. Krizan walked up to him and said," I'm sorry too. Would you please forgive me? Cause I wanna become your girlfriend." Then they kissed each other.
