Chapter 1: Mentality now-a-days

Hi all, I am Pratik Mehta. This is the second story I am going to write regarding the increase in consumption of alcohol in today's world, especially amongst the youth. The only question arises, "why cant they live without these addicted stuffs? ". Today's mentality shows that you are not a man if you dont possess any addictive activity or you dont have any right to live in the world if u dont have cigerette or wine or veed or alcohol. This is pathetic. Why do you need to consume all these stuff? People can live without addiction. You also can have different addiction like addiction for food, addiction for sports, music, technology etc.

There can be various reasons for starting the consumption of alcohol such as over-whelming, frustration, breaking up in relationships, show off kinda stuffs, etc. The most common reason is the break up in relationship. I want to ask all those boys or girls who have started the alcohol after their break up, " did you get youe love back after that? ". The answer will be no for sure. I know my words wont change anyone but it can surely make others think twice before starting the consumption of alcohol.

Chapter 2: Current Circumstances and Low Thinking

As I said earlier, for me its very difficult to resist all these things. I have seen some couples where boy smokes and a girl stands a bit far from him in order to avoid the smoke coming out. At the same time, what if a girl wants to smoke ? I am sure the boy will not allow her. Why? There might be two reasons. One of the reasons might be that the boy doesnt want her girlfriend to face the problems associated with lungs. Although the boy already knows the effects of smoking, still he continues to smoke. Why cant he just leave smoking for the sake of his family's happiness ?

I have heard some cases where a boy has left his gf not becuase any fight but a girl asked him to choose between her and smoking, ultimately a boy choosed smoking. Are you kidding me? How can you do this ? Ofcourse, love is more important than this consumption, isnt it?

Lets take one more example, I went to a party which includes all kind of alcohol consumption, held in Bombay. Everyone was drunk and they were literally unconscious, they were not in a condition to stand still. Suddenly, a boy started abusing his friends due to some minor problem. His friends dint say a word not because they were scared but they dint want to go on a further discussion with a drunk guy. What if his friends havent understood him and started doing argument ? A drunk guy dint even know what were his words and how those words have affected their friendship.!! The thing I want to throw light is the guy might have said sorry to his friend, but he might have lost his respect in his friend's heart. They may continue their friendship but not as they used to be as friends.

Chapter 3: Believe it or Not !

The sad thing is that no one is now scared of cosumption of alcohol or cigerette even after trememdous efforts of Goverment, warning them using ad-films, banners, posters. Eventhough Gujarat is considered as dry state in country, I have seen many people having alcohol in the same state. Why arent they scared? What is their strength ? This implies a deep search. Same way, almost 55% of accidents have taken place where a driver have consumed an alcohol. You might have seen the hoarding saying that, "Don't drink and Drive ", but no one is taking it seriously and it result into an accidents, which ultimately causes the death or a serious injury to innocent person.

One can be addictive for food, sports or music. Youths are the future of the country but I am scared that most of the youths are turning towards the consumption of alcohol. I am not saying that one should not have it, but there should be some limit, you can have it occassionally, but it should not result in a regular habit. So many people will consider my story as a bullshit, but its just my try to show you all the negative side of our youth. I might have said something more as I am not that much experienced to write on this topic, but the story narrates the things I have faced till date.

Chapter 4: Last but not the least

We can live without cigerette, but still the one who made cigerette is Billionaire.

We can live without wine, but still the one who made wine is Billionaire.

We can live without drugs, but still the one who made drugs is Billionaire.

We can not live without food, but still the one who gives us the food, the FARMER, is poor.

Admit it or not, but this is the present scenario.
