It was me and my brother living in Nebraska at age 24. It was fun living in Nebraska actually, because we got to see many things together like the plant my brother grew in our backyard. Only one thing came popping up in my mind though. Ever sense that weird neighbor moved in across from us both of our parents passed away. My brother got sick and needed medical help right away, but then there was me. I'm the only person who survived all of this. I truly don't know how I even survived all of the horrors my family went through. I guess it was luck. Now, I live alone… alone in the house that used to be our’s, but now it's mine.
Ever since it became my house I felt lonely. I had dropped lot’s of friends in school and just plain general. I just wished I had a family that would of not died randomly. I mean it’s kinda okay though, because my brother did get kinda annoying. The main thing that does concern me is that house next to me. It looks strange and all torn up. I would not hesitate to look any longer so I stood up and started walking. Once I started walking the house grew cold. I could barely breath just walking up towards the porch. I could smell some salt or something coming from the basement, but I assumed it was nothing, As I am at the porch, I also smelled not only salt but a weird funky scent. It smelt like a dead corpse buried deep down into a grave.
Chapter 2
I told myself several times not to be here, but I did not want to stand in my house any longer. So I opened the door and just what I thought…. My brother was there lying on my neighbor’s floor in the kitchen and it was the scariest thing I have ever even seen.
