I opened the door and realized there was a letter from Slytherin City. I gulped. Slytherin City was the place where our mortal enemies lived. Slytherin traits were sly, dumb, weird, and at last, they were really good at battling. I opened the letter uncertainly ad read it aloud to my Ravenclaw friends.
“Dear Ravenclaw Island,
Hi! We’re the Slytherins and we want to challenge you guys to an extreme mission!! Come over to the island and face our challenges in order for us to never bother you again! (If you pass, that is)
Sincerely,
Slytherin City,” I read aloud.
“Great. Now we are being challenged by another city. I feel like it was just yesterday we were being challenge by the black evil witch for the floor is lava challenge. Now we are going to battle the “snakes”,” said Lucas, groaning.
“Well, I feel like this is going to be harder than last time since one of the traits of slytherin was good at battling,” said Adam, complaining.
“Stop complaining, everyone. Let’s just go over with this,” I said.
And so, we hopped on the car and we drove to the beach that was the closest to us. Once we got there, I was carsick. I stumbled out of the car and nearly died of the heat. (not kidding) Then, we needed a boat that was going to take us to slytherin city. “We have a ship! I rented it!” yelled Annie.
We happily went into the ship and saw we are the only people aboard it. What a relief, I thought to myself. No other people! I imagined the secret meetings, all the food we could have for ourselves, and so on!!!!! “This is going to become a legend,” I whispered to Adam, my friend.
Well, it wasn’t a legend when we arrived. And you’re about to see why……
Chapter 2
When we got there, Slytherin City was filled with battling cannons, bows and arrows, swords, spears, armor, and shields. I looked around for something we could use for a shield. We had nothing. “Ummm….. guys.. we are doomed!!!” I yelled.
We jumped. One of the slytherins had fired their cannons and the bomb hit our ship. It was sinking like it was the Titanic. “Oh…… were the bombs suppose to hit them?” said one of the slytherins to their general and leader.
“Yes, it was, you lazycow!” screamed the professor and leader.
“Ummm….. I’m not sure we’re going to make this,” said Michael.
“I think we are,” I replied.
“No, we aren’t”
“Yes, we are,”
“You think so?”
“Yeah, be positive, good deeds person of Ravenclaw,”
“Alright,”
Adam rushed into the water and dived. “ADAM, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? DON’T SACRIFICE YOURSELF! WE NEED YOU!” screamed Kalie.
All of a sudden, it hit me. No, a cannon didn’t hit me. Not an arrow. But a lightbulb. Ding! I knew what Adam was doing: He was trying to get the items from the shipwreck. The titanic was actually right next to us, deep in the abyss. After a minute, he didn’t come back. “Adam? Adam!” without thinking, I jumped and dived into the water to save my friend. I mean, that’s what friends are for, right? Helping each other. After a while, I ran out of breath. I was in a hurry. I grabbed Adam by the shirt and lifted him out to the shore. “Adam!” they all shouted.
I reversed my memory. I remember Kalie saying, “ADAM, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? DON’T SACRIFICE YOURSELF! WE NEED YOU!” Then it hit me again. A light bulb. Ding! We needed Slytherin. If we won, slytherin will be destroyed. Without slytherin, the founders of Ravencalw, Gryffindor, hufflepuff wouldn’t make houses without slytherin. Without slytherin would mean solving a puzzle with a missing piece. Without slytherin means Ravenclaw wouldn’t exist. So, we said we retreated and gave up on doing a battle. I mean, who wants to battle us anyway? Like what kalie had said, “WE NEED YOU!”
“Even though we didn’t win, we still did the right thing, right?” said Gary, sadly.
The door bell rang. I gasped. There was a letter.
