Chapter 1


"Come on,Spark!You can do better!"my trainer James yelled at me as I missed a punch.
"That's easy for you to say!Your not a girl!"I said as sweat dripped down my face.James chuckled and threw a punch aimed straight for my left temple.I dodged and punched him in his kidney.He doubled over and I kicked him in his gut.Then,I took my glock out and pointed it at his head.
"Yeild or die."I said.The bell rung signaling that this session was over.James laughed and sat on a bench.
"You've got to pay attention,Sara.Remember,keep your guard up.I could've killed you with all the time you wasted getting the gun out."James sighed and winced and held his stomach.
"I know,I know.But it's boring.Doing the same old things everyday."I muttered,shaking my black,almost blue,hair out of my eyes.
"Well,you keep practicing this routine until you pass without dificulty."James said.I sighed.
"Go choose a gun."he drank some water and cracked his knuckles.I went over to the training rack and picked out the SM 40 Revolver.Then,I loaded it with my costom-made bullets.They were twisted and had a jagged edge.Plus,they were pitch black and had a silver design on them.I stood in the middle of the room and cocked my gun.The lights turned off and I took a deep breath.Next thing I know,a light in the corner turns on and I shoot in that direction and let out a smirk when I heard my bullet pass through the target.It went on like this until I didn't have any bullets left.Then,James let me know that I hit all the targets.I nodded and put the gun back.
"We're done for today."James said.I nodded and left.
As usual,I was suprised at how dark it was outside.I ran for a mile and then called a cab.The cab driver was...let's just say he won't be driving for awhile.My apartment was in the middle of New York City,where it was sort of dirty,but sort of clean.As I walked up the steps,I saw Red smoking a cigar.
"Hey,Red."I said as I passed by him.
"Hey,Sara.Tristan has been around,looking for you."he said in his raspy voice.I groaned.Tristan has been my stalker for the past few months just because I bumped into him and made him buy me a new coffee(Well,he offered,so I acepted.).
"If he comes again,tell him I'll break his legs and he will lose a limb."I called as I walked through the entrance.I heard Red laugh.I went up 5 flights of stairs and went to apartment 7b.I opened the door and kicked it shut.My apartment didn't have much in it,no pictures,or anything like that.I had an old green couch and a TV in the living room,a suitcase with all my clothes in it,a single bed in the corner of my room,my kitchen only had a few things to eat. I had a quick snack and went to bed.


Chapter 2
The next morning,I had a feeling that something exciting was going to happen.I put on some sweats,a tank top,my running shoes,and a jacket.I put my hair in a loose pony tail.I jogged down the stairs and started my run to the APA(Assains Practice Academy).
I walked through the door and walked right into Chad Allen,the most annoying boy ever(If your wondering,I'm 18).
"Hey,Sara.Guess what?"he asked.
"What?"I narrowed my eyes at him as I walked down the hall.
"I'm training with you today."he whispered.
"I don't care,just don't get in my way."I hissed as I opened my practice room's doors.Chad whistled.
"Nice."he muttered.
"Sara."James called from the corner.
"What?"
"We are going to start with the guns today."he said as he went to set up the targets.I looked over at Chad and pulled him over to my gun rack.He picked up my gun.I punched his elbow and he dropped the gun.I caught the gun and kicked him in the stomach.He gasped in pain.
"Rule number one:Don't touch my stuff."I loaded the gun.I tossed a gun to the now upright Chad.
"Right."he cocked his gun.
"Begin."James said,right before the lights went out.
"James?Is this something new?"I heard some rustling in the corner so I started towards it.Someone grabbed me from behind.I struggled,but it was no use.
"If you want to see your little friend again,come find him.You have 5 days."a voice said.The hands that were holding me had disappeared and the lights came back on. Chad was unconcious on the floor.He started moving once I put a wet cloth on his head.
"What just happened?"he groaned.
"We just got robbed."I sighed.They took James.Whoever they hell they are,just came in here and took James.I got up and walked to the little closet on the other side of the room.I got 2 grey duffle bags and headed for the gun rack.I put in a couple knives,3 boxes of amo,and 5 guns.The other bag was for clothes and food.Both bags were water proof,which I needed for where I was going.
"What are you doing?"Chad got up and looked at the bags on the floor.
"What does it look like?I'm packing.Man,you are slow."I muttered the last part.
"I know that.I mean why?"
"I only have five days to get James back.I know where to go and how.I'm leaving to go get him."I explained,heading to the door.
"Wait!I'm coming with you."Chad said.I stopped and turned around.
"No your not.Go home.Go to your training room.Do something else other then bothering me when I only have so much time to rescue James."I yelled.Chad's eyes hardened with determination.He stepped in front of me when I tried to go out the door.
"I'm not going home.I'm not going to my training room.And I'm not doing anything else.You want to know why?Because I'm going with you."he said as if talking to a child.I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Fine,but I'm in charge.Come on.We have to make a stop at my place."I said,running out the door.
