me?”

“Rit. Oh, and Austus is with me,” Rit lied.

“He is?” Elaine asked. Her usual bored tone changed. Her tone became excited and happy. “I’ll be right out,” She said. Rit nodded. She paced around while waiting for Elaine. After a few minutes, Elaine came out. Her face full of excitement was dashed after seeing that Austus was nowhere to be seen.     “Where is Austus?” She asked.

Rit laughed. “Oh, he isn’t here.” She said.

“You lied to me,” Elaine said. “I’m leaving,”

“Wait!” Rit shouted. She grabbed Elaine’s hand. “I’m here because I can’t find Austus. Last time I saw him he was drunk and following us,” She told her.

“And? That’ not my problem!”

“What would you do if he died?”

Elaine bit her cheek. “Fine, I’ll help you. I’m guessing you want my tracking device.”

“Yeah, we need to track Austus down fast,” Rit said.

“Got it, I’ll go check it now,” Elaine said. She went back into her house but left the door open for Rit. She checked her tracking device which is in the format of a cell phone. She planted a tracking chip on all of her friends and enemies. She marked down Austus’ location. She frowned. “He’s in the forest. The same place where you guys killed the vampires.”

“What?” Rit said confused.

Episode Five "Austus!"

Recap:

Rit went on a search for Austus that brought no results. She was forced to go and find his childhood friend who could track him down.

Rit returned to the inn and found Nako and Uzin sleeping. I was hoping to get help from them, thought Rit. She left the inn leaving them to sleep. She took out her dual blades from the holsters they laid in and headed to the gate. She started walking then changed her pace to jogging then, finally, to running. She ran from the inn to the gate. Once she got there she showed her adventurer’s id to the gatekeeper. Satisfied with the credentials the gatekeeper allowed her through, but now without a warning of the darkness. She nodded and thanked him. She focused on her mission. Finding Austus and saving him from his captors. She continued running to the spot where they were hours ago. She looked around the area. Thank god I have this skill, she thought. She chanted the words: “Illuminate the area and allow me to see under the darkness.” The skill ‘Torch’ was a beginner’s skill that wasn’t hard to master. Those with the light affinity used ‘Torch’ as their first skill to learn.

Rit scanned the area in search of Austus. He has to be somewhere around here, she thought. The darkness was canceling out her skill. Even with ‘Torch’ on she was still blind in the night. “Austus!” She shouted. Her voice echoed. She stood still. She couldn’t see farther than three feet in front of her. “Austus!” She shouted again.

“Help!” shouted a familiar voice. It’s Austus, thought Rit. She rushed towards the sound of Austus’ voice. Austus continued shouting. His shouting led Rit to his location. She found Austus battling two vampires. A shorter female vampire and an older and taller male vampire. The male vampire reached a height of around seven feet. He was wearing a black cloak that reached his knees. His eyes shined a bold red with small black dots in the middle of the eye. The black cloak matched with his solid black attire. The same was true with the female vampire except for her cloak being more of a light gray than black. The color of her cloak, it’s the same as a royal vampire, thought Rit. “Help Rit!” Austus shouted. He was bleeding from multiple wounds over his body. His body was badly damaged by the vampires.

Rit rushed to his side. “What happened?” She asked.

“I don’t know. I was behind you one moment then the next I was here.” He explained. “I don’t know how I got here.”

Rit gasped. “It must be ‘Instant Teleportation’!”

“What’s that?” Austus asked.

“A royal vampire learns that skill at a young age. It has the ability to teleport people close to them.”

“Knowledgeable I see,” The female vampire spoke up. “Unfortunately, you two won’t leave here alive.”

“Unfortunate it is,” The male vampire said. He smirked. Rit and Austus stared at the vampires with their weapons in hand. A fight was brewing and it will end in travesty.

“How unfortunate!” remarked the royal. “He couldn’t last,”

“Shut up!” Rit shouted. She dropped to the ground. She grabbed Austus’ shoulder and shook him. No response. The royal vampire started chanting. Rit stood up and fired off shots. “Get away from him.”

“Shadow clones,” shouted the royal vampire. Four shadow clones appeared and surrounded Rit and Austus.  Rit turned around and faced the clones simultaneously. “0-2-4 take the boy,” She commanded.

“As you command madam,” 024 said. He used a skill known as ‘Shadow Feet’ which turns his steps invisible and allows him to get to an area undetected. He used the skill to get behind Rit and grab Austus. Rit turned around and fired a bullet at him. 024 dodged the bullet and disappeared. He used the skill again to get out of the siege. “Mission completed!” He declared.

“Good, then let’s depart.” The royal vampire announced. She recalled the clones that were tasked to keep Rit distracted.

“What about her, madam?” 024 asked.

“Don’t kill her, she’ll be useful later. But make sure she goes unconscious.” The royal ordered.

“Who are you?” Rit shouted.

“Why should I tell you that?” She sighed. “Fine, my name is Justice. The daughter of the vampire king,” She stated. Rit stood still as her mind recognized Austus being kidnapped and not being killed. That’s when 024 hits her in the back of her head and she falls to the ground unconscious. “Good, now let’s leave,” Justice stated. She threw her cape around and allowed it to flow in the wind. She then teleported along with 024 and Austus. Rit laid on the floor gone. She wasn’t dead, but she suffered some damage from the strong hit that 024 gave her.

Episode Seven "Gone (2)"

Recap:

Austus is attacked and kidnapped by the royal vampire, Justice, and her escort vampire, 024. Rit was left behind unconscious.

Justice trekked through a swamp. 024 followed behind her dragging a tied up Austus. He was still unconscious. “How long will we reach the spot?” Justice asked.

“One day of walking more,” 024 responded.

“Wake him up,” She ordered. 024 nodded. He woke Austus up by dumping some water on his face. He woke up instantly. He noticed his predicament.

“What do you want with me?” Austus asked.

“Quiet,” 024 ordered.

“What do you want with me?” Austus repeated.

“You’ll find out later. For now, keep quiet.” Justice said.

“Did you hurt Rit?” He asked.

“I said to keep quiet,” Justice said. She shot a glare at him.

He shot the glare back. “And I said: Did you hurt Rit?” He repeated.

“I left her unconscious. She’s wounded, but she’s still alive.” Justice told him. Austus let out a sigh of relief. Justice focused on making the journey. She needed to get through the swamp water. Her objective of getting Austus to a certain spot is important to her. She needed to get Austus there within two days. “If you want her to remain alive, then you’ll need to follow my orders.” She threatened.

“If you hurt her then so help me god-” He started.

“Any ideas about hurting her highness will lead to your premature death.” 024 threatened. Austus didn’t respond. He understood that the two were a lot stronger than him. His skills wouldn’t free him of the predicament, so he needed to play his cards right to prevent any casualties from occurring.

Rit woke up in the forest. Next to her was Nako and Uzin. An empty mana bottle laid nearby. Rit tried getting up but her wounds brought her back down. “Don’t get up. I bandaged your wounds but since we have no healing skills, we can’t completely heal you.” Nako told her.

“I know you’re injured, but what the hell happened to you?” Uzin asked.

"I-I was looking for Austus. When I did find him, he was already wounded by two vampires. They knocked him out and kidnapped him.” Rit recounted.

Uzin’s face flushed a pale white. “Two
