Cinderella was busy cleaning the cinders. "CINDERELLA!" One of her ugly stepsisters screamed. Stacey came storming to Cinderella wrapped in a towel. She was holding a broken brush. "My hairbrush is broken, FIX IT." Stacey demanded. "Where is it broken?" Cinderella asked. Then she noticed one of the bristles was broken off. "Oh, I'll do my best Stacey," Cinderella said taking the brush gently. "You're getting it dirty!" Screamed Stacey. Cinderella quickly wiped her hands on her apron. Then she took the brush again. She took some paste and put the bristle back on. "Just let it sit for a little while," Cinderella instructed. Stacey took her brush and walked away. Cinderella went back to the cinders. Cinderella's stepmother walked gracefully to her. "Clean yourself. We are having visitors for tea today." Then she walked away without another word. Cinderella quickly finished the cinders and put on another dress and apron that looked like the ones she was wearing. Cinderella slipped on her finest shoes. She walked downstairs to the kitchen to make the tea, and get the sugar. DING DONG! "Cinderella get the door, I'm not done yet," The stepmother called. Cinderella ran to the door and opened it with grace. "Good afternoon ladies, right this way," Cinderella said motioning them in. The two women sat down near the fireplace at a little table just for having tea. "The tea will be ready in a moment," Cinderella informed them. Cinderella walked to the kitchen and brought back the tea pot, three cups, a spoon, and some sugar all on one silver tray. Cinderella placed the tray on the table. The stepmother quickly sat down at the table with the ladies. "Good work Cinderella," she said without taking her eyes off the ladies. Cinderella curtsied and ran to the kitchen to wash her hands. She overheard the ladies as she washed. "Eleanor, your daughters are invited to the ball to meet the prince," one of the ladies said handing the stepmother two invitations. Cinderella frowned and dried off her hands. "Is there anything else I can get you ladies?" Cinderella asked politely. They all shook their heads. Cinderella curtsied and walked up to her room. Stacey came in wearing a beautiful gown. "Tracey needs help with her dress. SO HELP HER," Stacey ordered. Cinderella ran to her stepsisters' room. She helped Tracey into her green gown. It was getting late. "MOTHER! TAKE US TO THE BALL!" Stacey hollered. They all walked outside and took off for the ball. Cinderella noticed a note from Tracey. It said 'Clean the cinders'. Cinderella nodded and cleaned the cinders again. Later, she went outside for some fresh air. She knelt next to a wooden bench in the garden. She cried. "Do not cry, child," said a sweet voice. Cinderella looked up. There was an elderly woman in a blue and pink dress. She had a wand. "I am your fairy godmother." The woman said. "My godmother?" Cinderella asked. The woman nodded. "Go get me a pumpkin, you want to go to the ball right?" the godmother asked. Cinderella ran to the pumpkin patch to find the biggest, and fattest pumpkin she could see. "Hurry," the godmother said looking at the black sky. Lightning hit the ground. Cinderella came back with a fat pumpkin. She set it down next to her godmother. She waved her wand and the pumpkin turned into a carriage. Cinderella smiled. "Now got get-" the godmother couldn't finish. A small tornado was coming their way. "Oh no," the godmother whispered. Soon, the tornado left only another woman, but she was wearing all black, and a skull on her wand. "Anna-Lisa! Go away!" the godmother yelled. Anna-Lisa, the other fairy was coming closer. She waved her wand and soon the good fairy was in chains. "NO!" the godmother cried. Anna-Lisa waved her wand again and the carriage was back to a pumpkin. Cinderella ran as fast as her feet could carry her. Anna-Lisa was faster. She suddenly waved her wand at Cinderella. She fell to the ground. Her torn clothes were now a black gown. Her nails were black. Cinderella started coughing. All of a sudden, she was lying on the ground without movement or sound. Anna-Lisa cackled and flew off. The godmother touched the chains and they were gone. She sprinted to Cinderella. "She's dead," the godmother whispered. She cried. "If only I had enough power to save you," she said. The godmother knelt beside Cinderella. "This is all my fault," she whispered.
