"Come on Belle. The horse won’t bite you ... unless you give it reason to." I said, grinning at her. It was funny seeing a city girl try and get on a horse. “Shut up Rose. You would know how to do this since you live on the ranch but I don't." Belle said, still trying to get on the horse, “I taught you how to ride a horse, remember." I said. "Yeah, well have some sympathy, I'm pregnant." she said, sniffing as if she was going to cry. "Dumbass, I'm pregnant too but I was able to get on the horse." I said, rolling my eyes at her. It took some time but Belle was finally able to get on the horse. We went riding along the trail that leads towards the lake. It felt good to wear cut-off shorts and a tank top instead of a shift, lace petticoats, stockings, corset, and ... stop thinking about it I thought and scolded myself. Just enjoy the feeling of being free, I thought then steered the horse towards the water. I took off the shorts and tank top, then when I was in my bikini, I jumped into the water. Then I heard another splash that let me know Belle was in the water too. “Rose, you know what would go great with this?" Belle asked me. "Hmm ... what?" I asked. “If this little girl would stop moving. I swear she is dancing in there." Belle told me, scowling at her tummy. “You already know the sex!" I gasped. "Yeah, it was killing me so I went to the doctors to ask." Belle said. Snap! “Did you hear that?" I asked in alarm. “Isn’t it time for you to go work?" Belle asked me, changing the subject. “Oh shit! I almost forgot. Do you think you can make it back to my house?" I asked, already drying my red and black hair. I quickly put on my shorts then my tank top and left without hearing an answer. Five minutes later I realized it’s my day off. I even remember telling belle that. I had a feeling that she was keeping something from me, and I was going to find out. I walked back to the lake but stopped at some bushes so that they covered me because what made me stop was the site of Belle ... talking to Alex and Anthony. I guess I must have moved because they turned around and looked at me. Well I guess you can’t trust family. She won’t even meet my gaze, I thought, that just proves that she knew they were coming. “What’s going on here?" I demanded." Rose! Aren't you supposed to be working?" belle asked, laying her innocent act on a little too thick. "Cut the crap and tell me what’s going on!" I told her in a menacing voice. " Rose, don’t talk to our cousin like that" Alex said. I turned and looked at him. "Don't tell me what to do." I said. "Don't talk to your king like that!" said a voice right next to Alex. That’s when I noticed a petite blonde in an 18th century dress holding Alex’s arm. "Unless you’re stupid, Alex is a knight of the royal army, not a king, right Alex" I turned and looked at him but he refused to look at me." he must have lied to you so that you would help him." she said, with a smirk. "Ok. Since you answered that question, answer this one too. Who the hell are you" “I’m Nicole, future wife of King Alex!" she said in a haughty voice.
