The time was ticking, Sin and Lucian ran like lightning towards the hospital room. "Hurry up, Lucian," Sin cried and looked behind him to the summoner, who tried to keep up with Sin. It didn't take long for Lucian and Sin to reach the hospital room, but before they could react they shuddered and both stopped. The door was wide open, but who could be with Zorena when all the members were at the meeting? "No," Lucian shouted and ran into the room without even waiting for Sin. The warrior followed Lucian and drew his sword. "Shit," Sin cursed and followed Lucian. There could only be one person and that was Suzuki. "Drop it," Sin shouted and pulled his throwing knife out of his belt pocket. He pointed it at a male person. This person had bent over Zorena and held a dagger in his hand, right over his heart. "Drop it, Suzuki!" Sin ordered louder and passed Lucian who was surrounded by a bluish magical breath and looked at Suzuki sinisterly. "Let it be Suzuki. You will only regret it otherwise", Lucian admonished his leader and walked with Sin towards Suzuki. He grinned sinisterly and held the dagger over Zorena's heart. "Oh really? What do you two want to do?! Phoenix is mine," said Suzuki and wanted to stab, but blue star shine shot past Lucian and embraced Suzuki's hand like chains. The stars lay down on the dagger and let the blade dissolve into starlight. "Enough Suzuki!," shouted Lucian and Sin pounced on the bloodmaster. The two men fell to the ground and Sin just managed to keep Suzuki under control on the ground, held his blade to Suzuki's throat and growled: "You wretched traitor!" Just as Lucian was about to say something, Sin pulled out with his sword and slashed Suzuki's belly without hesitation. The bloodmaster cried out in pain, blood covered the entire floor and his eyes slowly lost their light. "Asshole," Sin spoke softly and stood up. He threw his two daggers on Suzuki's corpse right into Suzuki's eyes, raised his sword and chopped off Suzuki's arms and legs in addition. Panting, he looked down contentedly on Suzuki's corpse and turned away disgusted. The warrior looked at his sister, Lucian had sat down on Zorena's right side and held his left hand over Zorena's heart. Blue and white starlight danced along his hand and lay on Zorena's heart. Her body shimmered bluish-white and was slowly enveloped by starlight. The summoner closed his eyes and concentrated fully on Zorena's soul. He could feel her restlessness, the desire to be free again. To awaken to life. It hurt Lucian, how he would like to grant her wish immediately, but the healing took some time to take effect completely. "How does it look," Sin asked and watched Lucian, who closed his eyes further and directed the starlight further into Zorena's heart. "It takes time. Her soul must accept my magic. After all, I will lose all my magic," Lucian said and swallowed hard. He hoped with all his heart that he could really heal Zorena. More and more he felt his power leaving him and his hand began to tremble. The summoner swallowed harder and clenched his hand into a fist. Zorena's body was now surrounded by white starlight that blinded Lucian and Sin. The two men retreated and covered their eyes protecting them from the bright light. Lucian gasped exhausted and let Sin support him. "Lucian," the warrior could hear his name spoken by a gentle female voice. He opened his eyes, the glaring light slowly faded away and he saw Zorena standing before him and Sin smiling. Her long hair turned black and her eyes had a dark star blue. She wore a white off-the-shoulder dress around which a starry sky danced. In her right hand she held a golden staff with a white diamond. A weapon of the gods. "Zorena," Lucian spoke happily and freed himself from Sin, who looked stunned at his sister and dropped his sword stunned. Lucian pounced on Zorena, locked her in his arms and buried his head in her shoulder overjoyed. The black-haired woman smiled, closed her eyes and hugged Lucian. She kissed Lucian on the hairline and stroked him through his hair in a soothing way. "Thank you my angel," Zorena spoke softly in Lucian's ear and got tears running down her cheek like diamond dust.
"Sister," Sin said and also hugged his sister overjoyed when Lucian let go of Zorena. "Brother. Suzuki, he is..." said Zorena, but her brother interrupted her and nodded his head to the left of Suzuki's body. "Forget Suzuki. You are our true leader. Phoenix needs you." The woman nodded, looked at Suzuki's body and exhaled in relief when she realized he was dead. "Never before have I wished someone dead as much as I wished him dead," whispered Zorena. She looked into her brother's eyes who smiled and let Zorena go. The woman looked from Sin to Lucian and smiled warmly as he wiped away his tears. "The others know. They are all ready to follow you," Lucian said and took a deep breath to say more, but was interrupted by Zorena who put her hands on Lucian's cheeks and put her lips on his. The man flinched, put his arms around Zorena and returned the kiss overjoyed. "I love you," whispered Zorena and looked Lucian deep into his eyes. Sin sighed and watched his sister and Lucian. They really loved each other with all their hearts, after all Lucian was ready to give up his magic to save Zorena. The warrior picked up his sword and put it back into the scabbard, then he cleared his throat and said: "Sorry to interrupt you guys, but we have to take care of the Alliance." Zorena separated from her husband, looked at her brother and nodded seriously. "Yes, let's revive the phoenix," Zorena said and walked past her brother and husband from the hospital room. "Are you coming?" she asked, stopped in the doorway and turned to the two men who nodded and followed Zorena out of the sickroom. "Are we staying here," asked Lucian and looked at his wife as they walked down the hallway towards the common room. The golden sign of the gods formed on her forehead, she looked at Lucian and nodded. "Yes. I want to speak to the whole Alliance. Please see to it that everyone comes into the common room. It's about time they got to know the real phoenix," Zorena said seriously and Lucian nodded. He smiled as he saw the sign on her forehead. The gods had probably accepted her as leader immediately without hesitation. The man bowed with a smile, turned away from Zorena and set out to find the people together. "Zor, please take it slowly. You've only just woken up," Sin spoke worriedly and did not leave his sister's side. The lady smiled, stopped and looked at Sin. She nodded slowly. "Don't worry, I can take care of myself. The alliance comes first," Zorena spoke seriously and turned her gaze away from Sin. The woman kept walking towards the common room as if she had never fainted and her brother just shook his head while he followed his sister. She was stubborn, he knew that, but she always put the Alliance before herself. A trait Suzuki had lacked. He had always put himself first and not the members of his alliance. "Zor, you know no matter what you decide. We will all follow you," Sin said. Zorena stopped in front of the common room. She smiled, bowed her head, then looked up at Sin and gently explained: "I know, but still I want to give everyone their own choice. I don't want to be the leader of people who can't accept me as their leader. Sin nodded and the black-haired woman opened the common room and entered it with her brother to start a new chapter.
The woman sighed, looked around the common room and rubbed her upper arms as if she was cold. She had tilted her head and looked thoughtfully on the floor. She felt a burning sensation, a flame burning, desperately trying to get free. She closed her crystal blue eyes and breathed deeply in and out. Her phoenix was restless, she could feel how her phoenix demanded to be free. No wonder as long as it was locked up in her soul. "Zorena, are you okay?", the lady could hear Sin's worried voice. She felt two strong hands resting on her shoulder and the lady opened her eyes. She turned around and looked directly into her brother's eyes who took his hands away from her shoulder. "What's wrong?" he asked and bowed his head to get a better look at his sister. The woman smiled, waving her right hand and whispering, "All is well. It's only my Phoenix. He is extremely restless." Thoughtfully, Sin scratched his chin and looked at his sister who, exhausted, sat down on one of the sofa chairs, resting her head in her right hand and closing her eyes. The man sighed, stepped towards his sister and crossed his arms. "I think I know why," he said in a serious voice and looked down at Zorena, who opened her tired eyes and looked at Sin. The warrior took a seat on the brown-green sofa next to her, looked to her right and began to explain: "You are stronger than usual. You have Lucian's magic within you and your phoenix must get used to this magic. After all, Layto gave up his magic to save you." Understandingly Zorena nodded. Her look was full of concern. Lucian must have been weaker than she was, and yet he tried with all his might to get all the people of her alliance together. The lady rubbed her eyes and bowed her head exhausted. "Hopefully we can do all of this without any problems," Zorena said thoughtfully and stroked a strand behind her ear. Sin nodded, scratched his neck and didn't take his eyes off his sister, who folded her hands in front of the tip of her nose and looked thoughtfully down. He could understand her worries, but Sin was sure the whole Alliance would follow her. No one had really listened to Suzuki, or really followed his orders. That would not happen with Zorena. She had the trust of the alliance members. The new leader of Phoenix clearly had the whole Phoenix behind her. Just as Sin was about to take a breath to encourage his sister, the doors of the common room opened. The new leader
