show Zorena that he was no danger. Apparently it worked, her gaze turned away from Sin and both she and the dark phoenix looked at Lucian attentively. Zorena's arms were surrounded by black tattoos representing two black snakes, a red border surrounded the snakes. Zorena watched Lucian attentively as he slowly came closer. Both the leader and her phoenix did not let Lucian out of their sight, the strong flapping of the bird's wings sent out magic waves. Black magic waves and the warrior had to pull himself together to make no mistake. Every mistake could cost him his life. Only why Zorena was so suddenly, nobody knew.

Chapter.13.

Again and again Lucian felt magic waves of black magic as he slowly approached his wife. His whole body trembled as he looked at Zorena. Again a strong wave of black magic hit him and the future warrior fell to the ground in pain. He squeezed his eyes together in pain, lightning shot through his whole body and seemed to paralyze Lucian. "Lucian!" cried Sin, held his sword ready and pounced on Zorena, but the woman raised her hands, pushed her brother back and disarmed him in a flash. The sword threw Zorena against the wall and now fixed her brother. The pain in Lucian's body disappeared and the dark woman slowly stepped towards her brother who fell to the ground and slid into the passageway, through the force of magic. Sin hissed he was about to stand up and attack again, but he was forced to hold his breath. Black smoke settled around Sin's throat and seemed to suffocate the warrior. He flinched and wanted to fight back, but a force pulled him to the ground like fetters and held him down. "Sister," the warrior whispered in a voice choked with tears and struggled painfully to get air again, but this seemed to make the situation worse. The warrior was paralyzed. The breath tightened around Sin's throat and he looked at Zorena who slowly walked towards him. She smiled, knelt down to Sin who gasped for breath in panic and she spoke in a gloomy voice: "You traitors. Sin flinched at Zorena's words, opened his eyes with all his might and looked at his sister while he struggled not to give up. His sister bent over to Sin and whispered softly: "Give up. The warrior shook his head and Lucian rose, grabbed Sin's sword as fast as he could and was about to pounce on Zorena but the Phoenix cried out, drove his claws into Lucian's shoulder and pulled him back. The man cried out, stumbled, fell to the ground, dropped Sin's sword and felt warm blood dancing along his shoulders. The phoenix kept thrusting his beak into Lucian's shoulders and the future warrior struggled to protect his neck. He wanted to scream, but a loud, strong female voice made everyone go together. "STOP!" The woman held a small blue sapphire in her hand and held it high above her head. Blue magic waves spread and met the dark one of the black magician. White little flashes of lightning were created when they met and the dark leader turned away from her brother and looked curiously at the lady. Fearful she looked at Zorena and tried to keep her hand, which was holding the blue sapphire, still. Her quick breath betrayed her fear and the leader smiled, tilted her head and looked at the young blood master. "Stop it," she cried again, but this time a little more uncertain and took a few steps back. Sin gasped for breath in relief, straightened up laboriously and looked at Zorena, Lucian did the same to Sin. Zorena, who was fixated on the woman and the stone, stretched out her hand and spoke friendly: "Give it to me Lilith. You know we need the stone to strengthen our alliance." The blond and purple haired lady swallowed, looked at her leader and pressed the stone to her chest. She had received it from Azaria and should protect it with her life. Why did she not know, but she did not question this command.
