a bit of the blood from his face Zyaen looked down at his hands. The dark color was stark against the paleness of his skin. With Dark Elf in his blood, the assassin certainly didn’t take after his father in appearance. Having inherited his mother’s pure white hair and pale skin, Zyaen’s was smeared with black bangs as if signifying his tainted life. The golden eyes that were a trademark of the Chimaeya House was what really connected Zyaen to his father. It was once said that eyes were the windows of the soul and the rider was of the darkest kind.
As she walked over to deal with the body Kaari carefully examined the Silencer. Despite the gapping age difference between them, the male being considerably younger, Zyaen was of much higher ranking than herself. It didn’t matter how much fellow assassins whine about how the youth had obtained the position, Kaari knew the boy deserved it. The Aena’yr was well known for his ruthlessness and death counts and that was without mentioning his back ground as a Tha’aen.
Gathering the body into her arms, the female assassin was careful to keep the blood from her clothes. Even though it was cold outside, it was their only means of hiding the body. Balancing the body with one arm and her knee, the dark elf quickly opened the side window and was lost in the snow.
The blizzard had all but blown itself out by the late hours of the night and after many hours of waiting the Assassins were ready to make their move. By now they were tired of being shut inside the small inn and its crowds. Missions more often than not were a source of excitement for Brotherhood assassins as the Family was often kept close to home, ever deepening the loyalties to one’s coven.
Standing at the head of the stairs Zyaen gave a courteous bow as the last patron fled the room. They knew a trap when they saw one and the poor lady they were aiming to capture was going to have to go at it alone.
“Come now Sapphire Rider. Surely you know when you’re cornered?” Adrian’s quiet snicker filled the common room only seconds after. Tsking at his friend, mockingly, Zyaen walked forward to his unnamed attacker.
Signally Kaari forward with a twitch of his fingers, Zyaen locked his golden eyes onto the woman’s green. “Perhaps you would like to go peacefully?”
