“Okay, that seems like a good idea. Lead us there.” Aver ordered.
Kira nodded, turning to face his front. He continued walking, bringing everybody else along with him. They walked for another ten minutes before reaching the clearing. As Kira said, the clearing had enough space for everybody to comfortably rest in. Dawn, Keagan, and Catrina were ordered to set up for the night while the others began to discuss their plans, which shifted because of Kira’s acquaintance with the Dragon King.
“Can we walk up to him?” Aver asked Kira.
“As long as I’m with you. I’ve been with him for a while, so he won’t randomly attack me. He couldn’t have forgotten me after only one day.” Kira informed them.
“You stayed with the Dragon King? Were you his pet?” Ariana asked.
Kira shook his head. “No, I wasn’t. I had used my skill Freeze Strike to hold him in place. After that, he was forced to let me live near him.”
“You overpowered the Dragon King? That’s a near-impossible feat for a human!” Ariana exclaimed, raising her eyebrows in doubt.
“Yeah, I did. However, I wouldn’t call myself a normal human.”
“You wouldn’t?” Orion questioned, chiming into the conversation.
“I’ve lived longer than all of you. I was given Immortality by a goddess known as Visa and have lived fifty years in this forest before I chanced upon Orion and his party.” He told them.
“Fifty years!” Aver exclaimed. “You’ve been living for that long!”
“Fifty years,” Kira repeated.
“Immortality…. Goddess… fifty years…. Are you an otherworlder?” Ariana asked, intrigued by his past.
“Yes, I am. I came from a planet known as Earth. How did you know?”
Ariana shot up suddenly. “Ace is also an otherworlder!”
Kira looked at her, confused. He didn’t hear of their appearance. His first day in Striktin somehow lumped him with Ariana, the princess of a kingdom, Aver---the future king of the same nation--- and an otherworldly bodyguard. If he knew that he would meet these types of people, he would’ve left the forest earlier.
“Is he from Earth?” Kira asked, finding his words.
“I’m not sure where he's from, but he isn’t native to Historia.
“Is he from Earth?” He asked.
“I’m not sure, I haven’t asked him about his life.” She told him.
“Huh..” He muttered, engrossing himself in his thoughts. He left Earth in the year 1969 and never got the chance to return. However, he never cared about returning to Earth, instead, enjoying his new life in Historia.
Meanwhile, Mace and Silver returned from their scouting. They discovered Nazifa’s den, reporting back the specifics. Nazifa and his two younglings were sleeping when they chanced upon them. Upon arrival, Nazifa woke up and began to attack them. Fortunately, they managed to escape before Nazifa could rip them in two.
With recon completed, they decided to head towards Nazifa’s den once dawn broke. For now, the group decided to get eye-shut and rest for the next morning.

Episode Five "Scarlett"They packed their stuff and ventured onward towards Nazifa’s Den, coming across numerous weak monsters before reaching a large clearing. As they neared the clearing, Mace and Silver brandished their weapons, pointing forward. Silver ran ahead of Kira while Mace stood in front of Aver and Ariana.
“What’s wrong?” She asked, hiding behind Aver.
“Silver, what are we facing? A high-rank beast?” Aver asked.
“There's a murderous aura ahead. I advise caution ahead.” Silver muttered, closing his eyes. He tried to sense the aura’s owner through the sea of trees to no avail. Whoever was the owner of the murderous aura was highly skilled.
Kira peered over Silver's shoulder, recognizing the clearing. It was the clearing that Nazifa made his den in. This meant that the owner of the murderous aura had to be Nazifa.
Realizing this, Kira pushed past Silver and dashed towards the clearing. “Nazifa, it’s me! Nazifa, it’s me!” He shouted as he ran towards the clearing. “I brought my friends! They’re friends, not foes!”
Nazifa’s head popped over the treetops, glaring down at the group. However, Nazifa turned away from them, focusing on Kira. He had left a day earlier, just to arrive the next day. “Kira, why are you here?” He bluntly asked, unsure of Kira’s reason to return so soon.
“I’m here as a part of a quest”
“A quest? Is it to slay me?” Nazifa asked, raising an eyebrow.
Kira shook his head. “They originally wanted to kill you, but I convinced them not to. Instead, we want to work out a trade.”
“A trade?” Nazifa roared. “How laughable; the Dragon King turns to a trade instead of a glorious fight.” He then glanced at Aver and Ariana, who were frozen in place. In front of them was a dragon that towered over them with a night-black head, a long snout, and two terrifying twisting horns. Its pupils were blood-red, glaring intensely at them. Its stares nearly killed.
On its back were emerald-green octagon scales that ran from its neck to the end of its tail. They were illuminated by the sunlight, appearing as a lighter shade of green. Its teeth were a ying-yang of white and black, appearing as if the colors were fighting for control over his teeth.
Aver, still frozen from being some distance from the Dragon King, was ushered closer by Kira. He had glanced over at Aver, beckoning him to get close to the mighty beast.
Aver nodded, walking up to Nazifa, feeling the intense storm of mana surrounding him. The mana had penetrated Aver, but it didn’t hurt him, instead, giving him a sense of comfort.
Why isn’t it hurting me? He thought, staring at his palms.
Nazifa looked down, staring at Aver with curious intent. He felt the mana swirling around within his body, concluding that Aver held very little strength and wouldn’t be worth even a percent of his true power.
As everybody remained silent for different reasons, Kira took it upon himself to break the ice. “This is the future king of the Great Wolfstein kingdom, Aver Wing. He wishes to talk with you.”
“A mere mortal, not even an actual king wants an audience with me?” Nazifa arrogantly asked.
“Yes, your benevolence.” Aver then kneeled, bowing his head in the process. “I was originally sent here to slay you, however, things have changed. I now wish to procure one of your scales to take back to my kingdom. I will fulfill any request you have, as long as it’s something under my control.”
“Ha!” Nazifa exclaimed. “What can a future king do for me? And wouldn’t a king rather have the title of Dragonslayer rather than a scale? You could take all of my scales if you defeat me.”
Aver shook his head, glancing up at Nazifa. “Yes, my original mission would’ve seen me attacking you. However, I don’t wish to continue that mission. And many will follow a trade intelligent king.”
“Hmmm, I see. “ He then reached behind him, breaking off a scale like a loose fingernail and handing it to Aver. Aver grabbed one of the sides while the Fizer party and his guards grabbed the other sides. The scale was incredibly heavy, forcing five people to carry it.
Before they could leave, Ace looked up at Nazifa. “Thank you for the sale, but I must ask about your benefit in this trade.”
“You have nothing of interest. Instead, Kira will be burdened by this.” He turned to look at Kira. “I found a young child abandoned in my forest. She seems to be wishing for death, but she’s too young to die.” He moved to his right, letting everybody see a redheaded girl behind him. The girl was a vampire, but she was too young to use her powers. Her pale skin was dirtied and her memorizing crimson-red eyes were darkened by depression. She was a scrawny girl---petite not by choice---looking to weigh less than a hundred pounds.
“You want me to take care of her?” Kira deducted.
Nazifa nodded, beckoning the girl to step forward. “He will be your guardian until maturity. He is in charge of your future, but he won’t mistreat you. Open your heart to him and he will do the same.”
The girl nodded, walking up to Kira. Kira then crouched down, looking her directly in the eyes. “What is your name?” He asked her, smiling at her.
“N-No n-name,” She muttered.
“You don’t have a name? Then, I’ll name you… Scarlett. Your hair and eyes resemble the color of scarlet; beautiful.” He then patted her head, smiling to himself. She let him pat her head, but she was wary of him. She had been abandoned by her parents and now Nazifa - in a strange way.
Would he be the next one to do so? She thought to herself. How long will I be under his control?

Episode Six "Asher"“Where did Kat go?” John Calamity asked. John, unlike his comrades, was an otherworlder. He came from Earth, the same as Ace and Kira, but he wasn’t following the same path as either of them, instead, following a mysterious goddess known only by her faint voice, beautiful appearance, and her name, Cask. Everything else about her was unknown.
Even so, he took her orders without a shred of doubt. He foolheartedly believed in her, even though she was the one responsible for his first death.
“Gone, said she was going to meet the targets.” Hex, one of John’s comrades, muttered from his corner of the dining room in the two-story building they stayed at. “Some kid named Ave or Ake, or something like that.”
“Oh,”
“You mind telling me why we need to kill this town again?” Hex asked, glancing at John.
John shook his head, irritated to repeat himself yet again. “Fine,” He started before clearing his throat. “The Goddess of Darkness ordered me to reincarnate the evil god, Calamity. To do that, I need enough sacrifices to summon him.”
“Why are we trying to reincarnate an evil god, again? I doubt that Heka granted me my abilities for this, and I’ve also never heard of this goddess you’re talking about.” Hex remarked, lousing on the wooden chair.
Suddenly, the wooden chair’s hind legs disintegrated a moment after his words. He fell back, hitting the wall behind him harshly. Hex quickly sprang to his feet, looking around for the cause of his tumble. The cause ended up being in front of him in John, who was hiding something under his trenchcoat.
“What did you do?” Hex exclaimed.
“Talk harshly about my Goddess and I won’t hesitate to slay you here.” He said, brandishing his glowing palm from under his trenchcoat.
“So you disintegrated my chair’s legs over some rambling. Hell, I was kidding, but
