woods, Anna could see a little farm house. It seemed helpess to all the shadows surrounding it.
"It came from over there!" Anna barked as they dashed up the hill. The crisp air was making her all the more thrilled and when they got to the porched all three stopped and turned to one and other.
"Um," Kesiah raised her brow slightly, "Now what? I don't suppose you want us to start banging on the door like lunatics."
"Well," Anna stayed quiet for a second and then looked over at Genevieve who was silently holding her sister's hand. Anna went to the room and decided that it was best that they look around.
"You two wait here and I'll search around, I know these people, they brought a couple of dresses from my mother's store one night and I think they have a son and two daughters." She spoke as a matter-of-factly. Kesiah sighed, "Oh, that's nice."
Anna couldn't tell whether she was being sarcastic or geniune but if she had to choose she chose sarcasm. Anna stepped off the porch and decided to head over to the old shaft that was behind the barn. With a solute to her friend and her friend's little sister and was off into the shaft past the grey barn.
Everything about the shaft seemed murky and stiff. She pasued and realized why she was walking. When she turned back, she saw Margret behind her and exclamied, "Oh great bloody Britan!!" She shouted as she jolted in her clothes.
Kesiah widened her eyes, "Woah; what?! Nan calm down. Its just me."
"You dumb dicken! do you enjoy scaring the wits out of me?" She hissed.
Kesiah chuckled and placed her hand on Anna's chest and when she could feel Anna's thudding heart pounding she chuckled, "You really should try to be more serene."
Anna nodded and as she looked at her friend she felt that looking at Kesiah was the strangest thing. Something about Kesiah seemed different and as she observed her friend and ponder what it might be, the realization sunk in and she gasped, "Kizzie!"
Kesiah tilted her head in perplextion, "Um, what is it?"
"Where's Genevieve?" Anna asked urgently. Kesiah sighed, "She right-" But as she turned she pointed to the wistful empty space of where she thought her sister was standing and widened her eyes in terror. Her eyes roamed the field desperatly and shouted out her sister's name in shock. Anna did the same and as they searched, the sun began to appear in the horizon.
"Gen!! Where are you?" Kesiah asked, practically demanding a response but not getting any. Anna reached the porch with Kesiah to see Genevieve standing there, her back facing Anna.
"Kizzie," Anna whispered clutching Kesiah's shirt sleeve. Kesiah looked and quickly dashed toward Genevieve. Anna stayed by the porch and she could see that as Kesiah walked closer, something moved more and more from on top of a tree. She squinted and saw a pale face peek from the thick branch and thus, appeared a thin figure. The figured grinned, it's marble white teeth glistening in the rising sun. The shadow that seemed to have no face began to crouch on the branch.
"Kesiah!" Anna screech. Kesiah paused and turned slowly. Her perplexed face was washed away with irritation, "What Anna?!!"
"Behind you!!!!" Anna jumped anxiously. Kesiah turned back swiftly upon seeing the dark figure locking eyes with her and pulled away mechanically from the trees. Her sister was still standing motionless a few feet away. Kesiah tried to run after her, but when Genevieve lifted her head to reveal what seemed like a broken cheek bone, Margret could not resist the urge to pull away.
Anna was terrified now, both her and Kesiah. But without another moment to pass she could see Kesiah reached out and yanked her by the wrist. When they got to the porch, Anna stared gawking at the figure that leaped out from the tree. Anna's knees locked in place as she stared at the swiftness of it. Kesiah stopped on the steps of the porch when Genevieve pulled away and began scqueeling. Kesiah looked at her in shock.
Suddenly, the figure was gone and Anna began to search the field in desperation. "Mine!" Someone whispered from behind. The voice was so close and unexpected, Anna could feel her skin rise and in and instant, a hand clutch her wrist while the other covered her mouth. She widened her eyes in shock and tried to move away but her neck was imprisoned to tightly and she could not breath. She felt as though her head was about to burst.
Anna's mind was racing, her thoughts tripping over eachother and for a moment she froze. In the jumbled mess in her brain she thougths back to the pocket knife. Kesiah grabbed her sister's hand and grabbed the pocket knife in her pocket, she thrust it at the person behind swiftly. It let out a loud hiss of pain and soon withdrew Anna and turned, snarling as it did so.
Kesiah gulped, sort of absolutely regretting what she did. Suddenly, the sun shone enough for Kesiah to see that it was a girl, dark chalky black ragged short hair and a lily pale face that stunned her, the girl was bony, eyes grey with no pupils to distinguish and razor sharp teeth shown through snarling fierce lips.
Was she even human? Kesiah hid her sister behind her, "Run Genevieve!" She demanded. Genevieve nodded and without a hesitation ran down the patio to the fields. The girls eyes turned to Genevieve than back to Kesiah.
Anna recovered the shock and ran to the door, banging obnoxiously and shouting for help.
"Don't come any closer!" Kesiah muttered, her body trembling as the girl took a step forward. The girl tilted her head and then said in a rough voice, "Go,"
Kesiah pulled her eyebrows together, "H-hunh? What?"
The girl looked over the field, "Your little cherry is calling for you." Kesiah turned immediatly in return and saw her little sister's body, in the distence as she ran, but only for a while as she watched, the moments of freedom little Genevieve had were gone as two figures grabbed her. She shrilled and was gone. Kesiah ran down the porch, "Nooo!"
The girl smiled, sauntering down the porch, "Do you cherish that?"
Kesiah glared at her, "She is a girl!! Not a thing-not a cherry you drafted fool!!"
The girl laughed strangely, "Drafted?"
She turned to Anna and grabbed her by the beginning of her hair. With the hair securly locked in her finger she pulled Anna away and said, "What are you doing? No one's in there." She traced her finger up Anna's throat and then to her lips and into her mouth. Anna struggled and then realized that this person was capable of killing her and her friend Kesiah, she felt like the worls was breaking around her, the life she was living in was beginning to crumble against the terror and anger she felt. Soon the girl yanked Anna to the ground. Anna yelped as she bashed into the wooden pation. The girl got down and said, "Don't put your nose where is doesn't belong cherry," Anna rolled over and tried to crawl to her knfie. Kesiah tackled the girl and both began to wreslte vicuously.
Anna stared for a moment and then took a step forward to peek at Kesiah's cast face. The wind brushed Anna's long auburn hair against her face as she stared at Kesiah, hoping her friend would not give in. As Kesiah lifted her head, she widened her eyes in what seemed like confusion. Anna turned curiously to see the bony girl was now next to the boy and staring straight at Anna with her hypnotizing eyes, she reached out her pale hand and grabbed Anna's wrist tightly.
The boy looked a bit taken aback but didn't not stop her. Anna widened her eyes and tried to pull away but the other girl was too strong.
"Let her go!" Margret demanded, trying to pull Anna away from her. The girl glanced at Margret, "She's mine!" She hissed angrily.

Kesiah's voice grew oddly shaky as she began to realize the reality that she would have to go with them to release Genevieve, "It's a fools trap. You're all lying. Where is she?"
The girl, still staring at Anna said, "She is under his care now."
Anna was growing more and more uncomfortable as the girl watched her with the most oddest yearn in her eyes. Anna felt uncomfortable, her stomach was in knitted knots and she felt oddly out of place as she clutched Kesiah's hand in her hand for some sort of comfort. Kesiah could feel the clutch tighten and looked over at Anna. When she saw her fear and discomfort she turned to glare at the girl. "Hey!" She barked to the girl who turned leisurly to her.
"You're scaring Anna!" She stated with annoyance.
The girl glanced back at Anna and smirked, "I apologize...Anna." She whispered her name. It brought chills up Anna's spine. The boy sighed, "Will you come with us or shall you stay with your friend?"
She took another step forward, "Listen boy! We will tell the police about you! You will not obtain them any longer."
It was quiet, the girl was staring at the boy anxiously, as if waiting from him to say what she wanted him to say. After a few seconds, he smiled blankely and finally said, "Very well, it's a no. We must part now." The girl turned to Anna and slowly puckered her lips and blew a kiss to Anna. They both vanished into the rising of the sun. Anna let out a sigh but was not as relieved as much as she was concerned.
"What shall we do?" Anna asked with apprehensiveness in her tone. She could see the Kesiah's face had gone pale and for the first time in a long, very long time, she could see that the friend she'd looked up to for so many years, the friend whose character showed leadership and an outgoing charisma, was finally about to wail in a few seconds.
Anna was a bit belwiedered by this action but should she be? The poor girl just lost someone she loved dearly. There were thick clouds slowly making their way over; there would be a storm soon.
"Kesiah," Anna whispered after having no response from her.
"What Anna?" She asked softly, her face grim with sadness but Kesiah then said, "I'm going to find them. It's genious that they take my sister because now we could really search for those idiots," She muttered.
