I was only 6 at the time but I remember my godfather telling me something very important "When you get older and into a relationship with a girl you really like, just know it's important to always put that women first. I never thought that what he said would come in handy until i met this girl.

At school, during lunch, I hadn't heard the sounds I was use to hearing. All I could here was the sound of my loves' laughter. As I walked toward her she gazed at me for quit a few seconds. I remember what I was thinking those few seconds, " All year, all year I've been waiting to do this... I can't walk away now." As she looked at me her friends got up and moved to another table to leave us alone. I remember her looking at me with her warm beautiful brown eyes. I took a deep breathe and I asked her, "Do you want to go see a movie with me?" ( I exhaled silently). "Sure, is tomorrow 8:00 good?" When I said yes, it took a lot of energy to say it without screaming and shouting with joy.

When I started to freshen up for my date my dad walked in my room. He had a serious look on his face. I can't even explain how serious his voice was, "Now, son... this is your first date, and I don't want to worry you, but we need to have a talk. All I want to say is... don't do something your gonna regret later son." He walked out the room and closed the door behind him. I sat on the bed and started thinking about what he meant by "don't do something your gonna regret," my head was spinning, and then after a while ... I got it! I walked out of the house to my loves' to go get her for our date. I got to her door, and rung the doorbell. There she was, wearing a yellow and pink dress with a white flower in her hair.I hate pink and white, so I just told her she looked beautiful (what she wanted to hear). We went to the movie theater and I ended up buying to tickets to "The Songs That Shed Tears"
You would think after that movie, and the date we had, we'd be together forever. You're right!1
