Lord Shiva is one of the prime deities of Hindu Religion. Right from my childhood, the god has helped me in many ways. It still continues. Lord Marundeeswarar is an incarnation of Lord Shiva who can heal all types of ailments both physical and mental. I have been going to the temple regularly every Sunday for the past ten years. With the blessings of the Lord, I have got rid of many medical ailments. The blessings of Lord Marundeeswarar always help me to get diagnosed in the beginning itself and get treated.

The temple is more than 1700 years old and was built during the times of Pallava kings. Though the temple is known for its healing powers, it has become more famous during the last decade. More number of people come to the temple to worship mostly for getting cured of diseases.

Every Sunday a special pooja for Lord Sarabeswarar is conducted in which more than 100 people participate and recite Tamil hymns. Lord Sarabeswarar is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. People who worship Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva worship this Lord and get the blessings of both gods. Hindu religion is a mighty ocean to understand easily. It has in depth secrets that are revealed only to selected people who are destined to realize the power of deities.

Anyone around the world who suffers from pain or any severe medical ailment can pray to Lord Marundeeswarar. The Lord resides at Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. Though the medical field has all types of sophisticated instruments and technology to cure any disease, still there are unknown answers for certain types of medical ailment. Lord Marundeeswarar can solve those unsolved medical mysteries. Regular visit to this temple has helped many people to enjoy good physical and mental health.

Every month two days before a new moon or a full moon, the temple celebrates Prathosham, a regular religious function between 4:30 pm and 6 pm in the evening. Regularly attending these functions have blessed everyone with excellent physical and mental health. Why don't you spend a few seconds and think about Lord Maruntheeswarar.

I have been visiting this temple for the past fifteen years.   Once in a week I visit this temple.  Whenever I go there I have a feeling of coming back to my parental home.  The solace and relief that I get after praying to Lord Shiva and Goddess Thiripura sundari gives me the mental strength to face life.

What ever ailments I complain will just vanish away once I step inside the premises of this temple.  I can breathe healthiness in its surroundings.

 I am here sharing one more incident that happened in my life recently.  It made me feel, my family is within His threshold of protective ring and the Lord is always there to protect us.

The Lord saved my husband from accidents.   One day, my husband gave me a piece of turmeric from a pooja at a temple. As I was wearing my golden thali, I don't know how I could wear it.  True to the saying, everything happens for a reason, the moment came for me too. 

When I could not arrange money to pay second semester college fees/exam fees, I was forced to pledge my gold chain and pay the fees.  I was forced to wear my thali in yellow thread.  The piece of turmeric that I received from the temple was now tied to the yellow thread was worn as a thali.

This sacred piece of turmeric saved my husband from accidents and it also helped me to come out many mental and physical ailments. Such is the power of Lord Maruntheeswarar.
