I saw his lips open slightly as he leaned towards me. He took a slow, deep breath. He blew softly on me, with his eyes tightly shut.


The gust of wind that had come from deep within his lungs thrust me backwards and out of his reach. Then, I began to soar higher, higher the cool summer breeze engulfing me, pushing me up.


I looked down towards the young boy, whose eyes grew wide with wonder as he watched me. Watched me drift higher, carrying his wish to the sky.
