Freedom is a powerful feeling
Desperately longed for by all
For it, men have killed
For it, men have died
But find it, man has failed to do
Freedom nags you
Giving you a taste, and then pulling away
The wind that you feel
As you soar down a snowy mountain
The fresh air that you inhale
As you hike through a dense forest
So meaningful as you feel it
So easily lost
As you return to your struggled life
Chained by your own imperfection
Freedom is a luxury
Rightly searched for by few
Freedom is a luxury
Yet to be found
