Your entrance made no impact on me
But your persistence soon caught my eye
For a while you linger in the distance
Slowly moving your aim to my heart
You snatched my affection
Formed your throne in my treachery
Which demanded subjection and obedience
But I finally evicted you off the throne you carved
Releasing the blindfold
The sights I now see, repulsive
The feelings that now arise, unpleasant
But there remains a piece of you in me
That connects me to you.
