Love

I
My love is a velvet sky,
Running forever, into the heavens.
Shaping and forming but ever so shy,
Probing the curiosity of those yet to revel in.

Why must all young love die?
Crushing and imploding under the bed,
Tears between those gone awry.
Pushing and pulling of those already dead.

Catching the dreams, why can’t we be?
But it is just us, who have been deemed.

In the Valley

Sometimes it’s too hard to bear in the valley
A masked restraint of care in the valley?

Wrapped around the taste, cool metallic.
Hushed momentum faced share in: the valley.

My darkest side arrives in processes unknown,
Bitten cheeks it started when we went down to mirror in the valley.

Yet when I went up to caress your missing face,
Low, I turned after I missed summers fair, in the valley.

Holding down my fear, we’re still young.
There will always be air, in the valley.

What Could Be

Happiness, the slow moving gasp
The smile shining past.

Happiness, the newborn babies light
The graceful pilot drawn to flight

Happiness, winning the one race
Choosing to make the warm embrace

Happiness, the feelings inside you and me
Bringing one and all together just to be
Happiness

Perception

Perception

Grass moaning in excess,
Screeching kids among exhales.
Flags dead movement, ruining messes.

Fading sky behind pleading rascals.
Sniffling souls, pausing in remembrance.
Breeze dark and swollen factual.

Rumble loud, fading clearance
Reflective sun off rolling windows,
Enfolding scenes, little bugs menace.

Seawhich

Windswept, waves of soft monds,
Angsty golden crests, life beaming.
Crunch of leaves, juice of fruit.
Mysterious aromas, in and out of perspective.

Fire’s spark

The soldiers drag him,
Bringing the soulless embodiments home.
Pushing past, silent cries.
The fire’s spark fly’s above.

Metrognome

Glistening, light breaking on the windowsil
Stealing away the darkness shrouded in time
Rythmical, racing between silences cries
Shrieking at the touch
Graceful, velvet rust rolling in the air
Solid motion cold and smooth

XII ways…Sun

I
It was she, who was not there,
Hidden away in the crevices of my mind.
In my despair, I look to the night,
Knowing I’d miss her by just a breath of hair.

II
Blinded am I,
Running through shadows.
The remainder of her hidden in rolling clouds.

III
A character.
Blazing and superstitious,
Time kept and ravenous,
Leaving all hovering after.

IV
Through and through we call,
Joyous laughter, kissed bodies.
Speaking to us, she tells a story.
Tongues of birthed babies, lifting up to her at once.

V
Bright hues and spectrum of beams,
Blending together to create serene,
Who is to say?
Our tan bodies, touched by above,
Padding through to our hearts to shine.

VI
Surrendering to the brilliance,
Unique in line reflecting.
Nocturnal those turn in comparison.

VII
Alas! My heart soars,
Meandering under the cape of moors.
Darkness befalls thee, in escape of chords.

VII
Soul rising and falling,
Days gone by light and dark,
Sun and moon, who lives by?

IX
In her wake, bleeding.
Rolling reds and receding,
Reaching out with mistaken meaning

Swift movement

Red flares putrid as lust,
Collecting her mouth in greenery binds.

Hobbling near, she will not move in rust,
Fluttering by persistent below invisible line.

Sinking she will, wind receding,
My heart, twinge of relief hidden behind.

I’ll shake her, cleaning her of unspoken years,
She will be left new, a virgin with must

Show it all to the sky

Showing it all to the sky.
Often wondering who was there,
Roaming in dark unsaid lie.

Makingly she sings within herself.
Rolling over mounds, lovingly rare,
Showing it all to the sky.

Shocking her back to life, going around the dark shells.
My son, my surrender, my soul will surrender,
Roaming in dark unsaid lie.

We don't know where to go from here, this fairytale,
So bring us down to it and we'll remember.
Showing it all to the sky.

How it was to recollect sorrow,
Shaping my back, he walks away in December.
Roaming in dark unsaid lie.

We fix the airways to mellow,
Haunting us through our lifes, a tremor.
Showing it all to the sky.
Roaming in dark unsaid lie.

I am a Stray Writer

I am a stray writer in the ocean
Contorting meaning thrust on hollow
Ripping thoughts from still movement
Essence slick to smoothed pens

Contorting meaning thrust on hollow paper
Lift to wave discerned desires
Essence slick to smoothed pens
Branching lips ebbing wind

Lift to wave discerned desire
A template of skewed thoughts
Branching lips ebbing wind
I am a stray writer in the ocean

I am
I am young and naïve
I wonder about why there is so much cruelty
I hear the wind around me
I see my past
I want to travel
I am young and naïve

I pretend to be quiet
I feel enclosed in my own skin
I touch the hearts of those around me
I worry about where I’ll be in a couple of years
I cry over the millions of people being murdered
I am young and naïve

I understand that my parents love me very much
I say we should all believe in something
I dream of brighter things in life
I try to bring happiness to light
I hope I’ll be good at something one day
I am young and naive

Hope

All the Lonely People

Fragile word choice unfrayed,
Casual guidance from gentle God hands,
Lonely nights spent awakening gradual sermons.

Presence unknown, doors shielding silence fallen hands,
Unfinished pieces, wedding bells passed in ears.
Robbed of light he searches her out.

Delicate words left unsaid,
Dirt mounds covering hungry ground.
Another one he thinks will not be the last.

Fall to Theme

The dreary shudder urgently,
Summers heat waning into fall.
Broken leaves fall from trees, prancing an epiphany

Their mother calls them down from rest.
Near the window, heavy stools,
giving grateful over candles.
They all say the prayer, pleated shirts,
they plunder the course.

An angel, with dilated thoughts,
seeping another nights Blessing.
Safety falls like velvet, children lay off to bed.
Brimming stomach’s fidget, they all fall silent,
for a prayer is said for each little head.

Possibilities

Is there a way to tell?
Unaware of very close proximity ghosts,
Reeling shame, those empowering her.

Will they understand?
Pulsating wreckage pounding down my door,
Believing through the cold nights I make.

Can I be released?
Relinquishing thoughts of beloved,
Drawn by desire for hungry eyes

There is a way out.
Wrapped in contemplating haste,
Brilliance beaming from self-satisfied lips.
Crookedly breaking ties to the captor.

Happy Poem

Caterpillars chugging through the rain,
Searching for the nourishment of their brains
Smiling at each other, creating a train

A family of three trudges by,
unknowing of the life they pass
Chasing one invisible tail to another, a trip uncrashed
Splashing in the puddles, the sky lifting, removing dim mass

Happily they all play, under the terrain
The delicious circle bringing them whole,
within sadness they trash
Sleepyheads missing out through lost love uncherished
One more day and all will be perfect again,
spinning round their passed canes.

Rapunzel

Born from a flower, locked in a tower.
Blossoms into flowers, robbed by desire.
Behind walls closed higher, losing worldly attire.

Bringing thoughts of who birthed her core.
Blinded by self-assurance and more,
Bored with the drone of day to day chore.

Brushing past the cold stone around her heart.
Branching freedom from the first loves mark,
But the captor returns, bellowing out the freedom to march.

As Luck would have it

As luck would have it
I couldn’t go to school,
Kids think I’m so uncool.
They don’t know I don’t have any friends.

As luck would have it
It started to rain,
My dad went insane.
I’ll clean up what remains.

As luck would have it
We can’t pay the bills.
Mom overdosed on some pills.
There is no money for the hospital.

As luck would have it
I don’t believe anymore,
My life so full of chores,
It hurts me to the core.

As luck would have it
I made a friend
He had the strongest hands
I hoped it would never end

As luck would have it
I got invited over to dinner
I look in the mirror
God I was getting thinner

As luck would have it
I went to church
The preacher prayed about prayers unheard,
And God it hurt.

As luck would have it
It’s hard to believe,
He proposed to me.
Down on one knee

As luck would have it
I’m growing round,
The baby will come soon.
Where is my family now?

As luck would have it
There is no one left
As I stand in the black crowd
A fog settles in my chest

As luck would have it
I’ll tell my story
When I look down at myself
Wings flapping, I’ll be dressed in white and glory.
