 I,i'm Evangeline Smith and lets just say I'm no ordinary teen.You see my parents are in jail for a crime that they didn't commit and I'm in search of my sister who I'm guessing has already turned two. My mom was taken to jail while she was still pregnant and i don't know what happened to that baby. My father was release a year later but i have no idea where he is or if he is even alive.What i do know is that my sister is somewhere close to me. do you sometimes get the impression that someone follows you or that there are people who are watching your every move? Well that kind of my job, especially if you are a famous person like the president who is always targeted. Then they call us "teens" to do the following, i mean who would suspect a teenager is following the president? Uh, not me.         You may be wondering where i am right now. Well, im at the mall following the daughters of the president and to tell you the truth its not that fun to hang with the president's daughters. I mean yeah its cool to be around someone as important as them but i sometimes wish to have their lifes you know?

        "State your location" the voice came from my earpiece, making me lose my consentration.

        "north wing Macy's store" the girls were looking at dresses when I got the feedback.

        "Copy that" then it went silent.

        I noticed that some costumers were staring at our direction. Natasha was giggling at something that her sister said when they suddenly stopped and i turned around and saw a man coming our way probably in his mid 40s. He wore a grey suitand black shoes almost like the president's bodyguards but unlike our guards, he had a gun on his hand making it visible to everyone at the store. People started to scream and run as the man kept on moving.I turn around to see the girls hugging each other and shaking in fear. Istarted to lead the to the fitting rooms.

        "W-where are we going?" Natasha asked.

        "Were're going to the fitting rooms" Trying to keep my voice as calm as possible for the girl's sake. Malia was hugging Natasha as we entered the fitting rooms and entered an empty one. I lifted the carpet to reveal a door, I told them to get in and to be quiet . They did as I told them and closed the door to cover it again. As I was about to open the door...... it flew open knocking  making me bang my head.

        "Where are THEY!!!" the guy had a graspy voice probably  from smoking too much. my head started to hurt.

        "Don't know what your talking about and you should leave since this is the womens' fitting room" the big guy just stared at me with fury in his eyes that if they were possible to kill then I would have died a long time ago.He grabbed me by my arm making me yelp at how tight he was holding me. I must do something or else this guy is gonna rip my arm.I put my feet in the chair and then with all my force I pushed myself so that all my weight would knock him out. But of course, the big guy had to be so strong that I couldn't make him move an inch. So the only thing I could think of was to kick him where the son doesn't shine and BAMM! Down came the timber. I started to run to open area. Heavy footsteps followed my paste, I turn around and see the same guy but..... covered in silver? How can that be? Istarted shooting at him but the bullets just bounced off of him like a toy, but stoped when a sword went right throungh his chest. The only person that carried a sword was ......

        Once Jackson saved me he asked me where I hid the girls and when we went to get tem we resturned to the white house. We told the president and the personal what happened and how Jackson saved the day. The president thanked us and send us to our boss. Onced we arrived at headquarters, everyone in the building high faved jackson or gave him a pat on the back.The boss's secerestary lead us to a room where he was sitting on the opposite side of the room. He motioned us to sit and then explained to us what we were after. 

        "The profesor named Logan Schniff has been experimenting on humans for more than six years and we want the two of you to go and look for him." Hold on a sec,  he just say "we" as in Jackson and me? Hell no!!! I would rather die than be with this guy in a room. I mean sure his cute and everything, He has the qualities that any girl looks for.Tall about 6' 5', short black hair, toned body, an eight pack, blue eyes, and a sexy voice. But lets not forget that he is the most popular player in this place, all the guys look up to him and all the girls just want to be with him. But I'm not like that because I'm way too busy with work and I'm only a teenager.

        "Sir if I may ask" waiting for a sign to continue, "Why are you joining us, you know that we are totally opposite and that -"

        "Are you done?" I was silent, " You were put together because Jackson is the only agent that has servived n encounter with this criminal and you are the most serious person that I know." with that said he told us that were going to live in the country and he gave us our files with all the information that we would give if anyone ever asked about our past. Oh did I mention that I'm going to return to school?

Chapter 1: A New cover And New Problems

    We were exiting the building when my phone started to ring. I turned around to see a really pissed off Jackson who was tapping at his watch. We are suppose to leave immediatly because our plane leaves at 2 pm to Heartland.

        "Excuse me for a minute" he nodded and waited in the car.

        "Evangeline is that you? Are you busy?" My friend Tyler has been helping me find my sister but we have never been successful.

        "Yeah its me. Hey listen can I call you back-"was interupted by him, " you can't meet me at  the usual place in five" then the phone went silent. What does he want? Now how am I goona get rid of mister i know it all. I went to the passeners side with a really pisssed off Jackson and if this could be a cartoon then smoke would be coming out of his nose and ears.

        "You said a minute" wow. Talk about being strict. " I, uh.... have to go to this place and I havve to be ther in five minutes so could you take me" why is it so hard to talk to him? "please?" he sighed.

        "What time is it?" Is he asking me? He's the one that has the stupid watch not me! " Uh, its eleven o'clock"

hopefully we get in the plane on time.

 

"To where" his voice smooth but strict. " At the café on 42 st" please say yes please!

 

" You better hold on and buckle up" oh no.

In a five minute record time, we were in the front of the café. I told him if he could stay in the car since it would take long but as always, he didn't do it and followed me inside.

" Fine but stay seated in this seat while I'll be on the other side and then we can leave. He just movex his head and I was off. I spotted Tyler at the far corner with two mugs of coffee and a folder that he had on the right side.

 

"Hey. So can we make this fast because I need to catch a plane and JAckson is waiting for me" silence filled the air for a moment. "Nice seeing you too but ok I'll make it quick so that you and your boyfriend can leave." I blushed. "He's not my- we are not-" a warm hand wrapped around my waist making me feel comfortable. Tyler's face was full of furry and disgust. "You were saying?" Making me return to reality. I followed the arm that was lead to a shoulder then to the body. Can you guess who it was? If you voted for Jackson then your the lucky winner because it was him. His sheepish smile making him look like a seven year old child. "Hey. You said a few minutes and we are gonna be late." His hypnotizing voice makes me lose my focus of where we were and what was I here for.

"Sorry to interrupt your little love scene but I need to talk to Eve about something private." Tyler's voice was full of venom in each word. The hand around my waist stiffened at those words. "Sorry but Evangeline and I need to go to her house and pick her luggage and catch a plane. So no you may not talk to her. Come on let's go Evangeline." A mixture of fury and happiness. Wait. What. Happiness? No I'm not in love with this player that he thinks he can just order me around. Besides how dare he tell Tyler what to do especially when I told him to stay in that table until I came back."first of all, I can speak for myself thank you very much. Secondly, who made you my boss to tell me what to do? Thirdly, I told you to stay in that table" pointing to the table " and you didn't obey. So can you please leave and wait for me at the car?" Jackson and Tyler just did a staring contest for the time that I was talking to them. "Fine. But you only have five minutes no more" then he left.

 

"I'm really really sorry about all this but I have to go." Tyler easily recovered once the bell dinged and motioned me to sit. "What's up with at guy?" Concern and amusement filled the air. " look. Can we please finish this once and for all. He notted his head and reached for the folder and handed it to me. I rolled my eyes and made a quick scan of the papers when a picture of a baby girl grabbed my attention. Tears threatened to roll from my eyes
