Mamoru Chiba - Tuxedo Mask
Mamoru Chiba is a student somewhat older than Usagi. As a young child he experienced a terrible car-accident that robbed him of his parents and of his knowledge of his own identity. During the series it is revealed he has a special psychic rapport with Usagi and can sense when she is in danger, which inspires him to take on the guise of Tuxedo Mask and fight alongside the Sailor Senshi when needed. After an initially confrontational relationship, he and Usagi remember their past lives together and falls in love again.
Luna
Luna first appears in the first episode or act of every version of the series. In the Silver Millennium, she was a servant to Princess Serenity, sworn never to leave her side, as well as an advisor to the Queen. When the kingdom fell, she and Artemis were put into a long sleep and sent down to Earth to look after the Senshi, who would eventually be reborn there. Part of Luna's memory was suppressed, in order to make her task easier; she only knew that she was supposed to find and awaken the Guardian Senshi. She found Usagi Tsukino first and taught her to become Sailor Moon, not knowing that this was merely a disguise meant to hide Usagi's true identity as the reincarnated princess. Luna has blue eyes in the manga and live-action series, but red eyes in the anime.
Artemis
Artemis first appears in Act 1 of the Sailor V manga, Act 7 of the Sailor Moon manga, Episode 33 of the anime, Episode 1 of the dubbed anime, and Act 11 of the live-action series. He is the companion to the leader of the Guardian Senshi—he trained Minako Aino as Sailor V, and remains by her side when she takes on her proper role as Sailor Venus. His memory of the Silver Millennium seems to be more intact than Luna's—in fact, before appearing in the Sailor Moon series he guides her through the Sailor V video game at the arcade, but not revealing his true identity (and giving the codename "Central Control"
in the dubbed anime)
. When a technical problem reveals him, Luna is greatly annoyed to learn that he's been the one guiding her all along. Later, he fills in the details of her true mission. He has green eyes in the manga and live-action series, but blue eyes in the anime. Artemis is more easygoing than Luna, and has a "big brother"
relationship with Minako, although his attraction to her is sometimes implied. He also cares very deeply about Luna, often comforting her when she is distressed and stating his admiration of her. In addition, he is a good father to Diana as evidenced by her affection for him.
Lord Zedd
Disgusted at Rita's performance at attempting to conquer Earth, Zedd came to the Moon himself to get rid of Rita and do the job right himself, but would also be unsuccessful. Rita found her way back to the Moon, and placed Zedd under a love spell. The two got married, and continued to fail at world domination.
Rita Repulsa
A feared sorceress, Rita attempts to conquer all in sight. After being released from a dumpster in which Zordon imprisoned her in a final battle, she tried to conquer Earth, with her crew. Rita had no luck however, being defeated by the Rangers time and time again.
Rito Revolto
Arriving on the moon shortly after Rita's wedding to Lord Zedd (who was now his brother-in-law)
, Rito led a group of monsters into an ambush that would result in the successful destruction of the Power Rangers' original dinosaur powers as well as their Thunderzords. As a wedding present to his sister and Zedd, Rito had brought a large group of eggs that hatched into a flock of Tenga Warriors, bird-like creatures that would replace the Putty Patrollers as Lord Zedd's grunts. He also brought an egg that would hatch a Vampirus monster.
When the Rangers returned at full power with their new Ninjazords, Rito battled them again but was quickly beaten by the Ninja Megafalconzord, no match for the Zord's power. Despite his loss, Rito stayed with Zedd and Rita to help out in their conquest of Earth. He would often fight alongside Goldar.
When Master Vile arrived Rito tried to show him that they had captured Ninjor, but he tripped and the Jar Ninjor was in broke allowing him to escape. When Vile revealed the Orb of Doom, He ordered Rito to place it at the correct spot outside of Angel Grove. Rito was able to place it in the right spot (ironically after guessing it)
and with it in place Vile used the orb's power combined with his own to turn back time and leave the Power Rangers as powerless kids.
Goldar
Goldar is Rita's top warrior. He frequently accompanies monsters to Angel Grove, and holds his own against the Rangers.
Squatt and Babboo
Rita's two bumbling henchmen do their best to help their mistress in her war against the Rangers, but usually end up screwing up.
Finster
Finster was part magician, part scientist. He created Putties and monsters for Rita, along with the occasional technological device. Finster was very easy going and gentle by nature.
Tenga Warriors
The successor to a Putty, a Tenga Warrior is an over sized black bird that Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa use against the Power Rangers. The special eggs in which the are hatched from were given to Zedd and Rita by Rito Revolto.
Solar - Evil Guardian of the Gates of Different Dimensions
The main protagonist in this book. He is one of the Guardians of the Gates of Different Dimensions and he kidnaps 3 members from each team to pick a candidate to help him guard the gate of those dimensions.
Roma - Guardian of the Gates of Time and Space
In Otherworld lives Roma, the Guardian of the Multiverse, who is charged to rule and protect all of existence. The only beings who can travel through the Multiverse are certain magicians (i.e. Spectra, Celea)
, Roma herself, and those with the power to create time portals/dimensional portals (i.e. Nate Grey, Phoenix)
. Anyone else who travels the Multiverse cannot control where they are going, and any normal human would be killed.
