yo wè jan ou gen pouvwa.

17 And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And establish thou the work of our hands upon us; Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
17 Seyè, Bondye nou, pa sispann ban nou favè ou. Fè nou reyisi nan tou sa n'ap fè. Wi, fè nou reyisi nan tou sa n'ap fè.

Sòm 91

1 ¶ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
1 ¶ Moun ki chache pwoteksyon bò kote Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la, moun ki rete kache anba zèl Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a

2 I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

3 For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.
3 Se li menm ki p'ap kite ou pran nan pèlen, ki p'ap kite maladi ki pou touye ou tonbe sou ou.

4 He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
5 Ou pa bezwen pè bagay k'ap fè moun pè lannwit, ni kè ou pa bezwen kase pou malè ki ka rive ou lajounen.

6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
6 Ou pa bezwen pè move maladi k'ap tonbe sou moun nan mitan lannwit, ni epidemi k'ap touye moun gwo midi.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.
7 Mil (1.000) moun te mèt tonbe sou bò gòch ou, dimil (10.000) sou bò dwat ou, anyen p'ap rive ou.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.
8 W'ap rete konsa, w'ap gade, w'a wè jan y'ap bay mechan yo sa yo merite.

9 ¶ For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
10 okenn malè p'ap rive ou, okenn mechan p'ap ka pwoche bò kot kay ou.

11 For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.
11 Bondye ap pase zanj li yo lòd pou yo veye sou ou, pou yo pwoteje ou kote ou pase.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 Y'ap pote ou nan men yo. pou ou pa kase zòtèy pye ou sou okenn wòch.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot.
13 W'ap mache sou lyon ak sou sèpan, w'ap kraze jenn ti lyon yo ak eskòpyon yo anba pye ou.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
14 Bondye di: M'ap sove moun ki renmen mwen, m'ap pwoteje moun ki konnen mwen.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.
15 Lè l' rele m', m'ap reponn li. Lè l' nan tray, m'ap la avèk li. M'ap delivre l', m'ap fè yo respekte l'.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.
16 M'ap fè l' viv lontan, m'a fè l' wè jan m'ap delivre l'.

Sòm 92

1 ¶ A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah, And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;

2 To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness every night,

3 With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; With a solemn sound upon the harp.
3 Avèk mizik yo jwe sou enstriman akòd yo, avèk mizik yo jwe sou gita, sa bon nèt pou nou fè lwanj ou.

4 For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
4 Paske, Seyè, ou fè kè m' kontan ak bèl mèvèy ou yo, m'ap fè fèt lè m' wè tou sa w'ap fè.

5 How great are thy works, O Jehovah! Thy thoughts are very deep.

6 A brutish man knoweth not; Neither doth a fool understand this:
6 Se bagay moun lespri lou pa ka konnen, bagay moun fou pa ka konprann.

7 ¶ When the wicked spring as the grass, And when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; It is that they shall be destroyed for ever.
7 ¶ Mechan yo ap grandi tankou zèb, moun k'ap fè mal yo ap wè zafè yo mache byen, men yon lè yo tout gen pou disparèt nèt.

8 But thou, O Jehovah, art on high for evermore.

9 For, lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, thine enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
9 Paske, Seyè, lènmi ou yo pral mouri. Wi, ou pral gaye tout moun k'ap fè mal yo.

10 But my horn hast thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox: I am anointed with fresh oil.
10 Ou fè m' gen menm fòs ak towo bèf mawon yo. Ou fè kè m' kontan.

11 Mine eye also hath seen my desire on mine enemies, Mine ears have heard my desire of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
11 Mwen wè ak je m' jan lènmi m' yo pèdi batay la, mwen tande jan moun ki pa vle wè m' yo ap rele.

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree: He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
12 Moun k'ap mache dwat yo pral pouse tankou palmis, y'ap grandi tankou pye sèd nan peyi Liban.

13 They are planted in the house of Jehovah; They shall flourish in the courts of our God.
13 Yo tankou pyebwa yo plante nan kay Seyè a, y'ap pouse bèl branch nan tanp Bondye nou an.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and green:
14 Yo te mèt granmoun, y'ap donnen, y'ap toujou vèt, y'ap toujou gen fòs.

15 To show that Jehovah is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
15 Sa fè nou wè jan Seyè a pa gen patipri. Se li ki tout pwoteksyon mwen. Pa gen lenjistis nan kè li.

Sòm 93

1 ¶ Jehovah reigneth; He is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
1 ¶ Seyè a ap gouvènen. Gade jan li gen pouvwa! Gade jan li gen fòs! Latè kanpe fèm nan plas li, anyen pa ka brannen l'.

2 Thy throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting.
2 Seyè, gouvènman ou lan chita fèm depi nan tan lontan. Ou menm, ou la depi tout tan.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.
3 Larivyè yo desann, Seyè, larivyè yo ap fè bri. Larivyè yo desann, y'ap fè gwo bri.

4 Above the voices of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.
4 Men, Seyè a se sèl chèf nan syèl la. Li gen plis pouvwa pase lanmè a ki fin debòde, li pi fò pase lanm lanmè yo k'ap fè bri.

5 Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thy house, O Jehovah, for evermore.

1 ¶ O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.
1 ¶ Seyè, ou menm Bondye ki gen dwa tire revanj lan, parèt non pou fè yo wè ki moun ou ye.

2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: Render to the proud their desert.

3 Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph?
3 Kilè mechan yo va sispann fè fèt? Wi, Seyè, kilè y'a sispann?

4 They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
Kilè y'a sispann fè bèl diskou pou rakonte krim yo fè?

5 They break in pieces thy people, O Jehovah, And afflict thy heritage.
5 Seyè, y'ap kraze pèp ou a, y'ap peze moun pa ou yo.

6 They slay the widow and the sojourner, And murder the fatherless.
6 Y'ap koupe kou vèv yo, y'ap koupe kou timoun ki san papa yo, y'ap ansasinen etranje k'ap viv nan peyi a.

7 And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.
7 Lè konsa yo di: Seyè a pa wè nou! Bondye pèp Izrayèl la pa okipe bagay konsa!

8 Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise?
8 Nou menm, bann san konprann, manyè fè atansyon non! Bann moun fou, kilè n'a konprann?

9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, Even he that teacheth man knowledge?
