Love/Hate, Brooklin Biddix [the giving tree read aloud .TXT] 📗

     He knelt down beside her crying form and spat in her face. She flinched back slightly, but met his gaze. More tears trailed down her face as his eyes shown with pure disgust. She reached her hand out slowly to him, but he moved out of her reach, standing up. He kicked her hand to the side, “get that dirty thing out of my face!” She whimpered, but kept his gaze. He grabbed her throat and lifted her from the ground. She didn't struggle, she just stared into his eyes. He glared at her and tightened his grip. She smiled. “I love you”, she whispered. He pulled the small dagger from his belt loop and plunged it into her heart, “I hate you.”
